From start to finish the experience with the team at Oxford Brain and mind has been exceptionally. The whole rtms process with what is likely to happen and questions or queries through out our sessions been explain to me. The outcome has been life changing and I can't thank them enough. Keep up the good work.

Feeback for Dr MalhotraI found Dr Malhotra to build a good rapport with my father like no other psychiatrist in the past year. My dad was at ease and he shared his feelings with dr malhotra. She was thorough in her history and suggested a safe and cautious treatment plan.We hope to be in touch again.Sanjay has always been accomodating and friendly with us. He showed us the rtms machine and explained his approach

I had an extremely positive experience at Oxford Brain & Mind. I had suffered from PTSD and severe anxiety for over 10 years. Several types of talking therapy had little effect. I hadn’t heard of rTMS treatment before and had no expectations. However after 10 sessions I couldn’t quite believe that it was working so very well. After 20 sessions and I really had turned the corner. In fact I was struggling to remember how my anxiety felt. I completed my treatment and tests showed a > 90% improvement. If it wasn’t for friends and family who also told me of the change I wouldn’t have quite believed it was possible. I don’t know if I was the exception to the rule or an average example of how this treatment works. I’ve not had any rTMS now for a month I can safely say that I still feel good. It has changed my life in so many ways. The team were fantastic and thoroughly pleasant to meet with on a daily basis. Nice facility with easy access and parking. It worked for me and I hope it works half as much for you! 100% recommended.SM

I booked my brother in for a psychiatric assessment with the Oxford Brain and Mind clinic. The team at the clinic were fantastic! They were warm and welcoming, and booking the appointment was incredibly easy, unlike many other places that I’ve contacted in the past. As a relative to someone with an anxiety disorder, I felt comfortable enough to ask questions (with consent), and felt I left the follow up assessment with a better understanding of anxiety and how it was affecting my brother. I felt reassured of the specific treatment that was available. As a whole, the experience was lovely, the team were great, and the clinic itself was very cosy. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone dealing with mental health issues.

Overall, I would recommend this service (as a current patient) to anyone struggling with their mental health or who has a loved one struggling with their mental health.I have been struggling with my mental health for a long time which causes you to personally research tings to end the annoyance/suffering. However, for me this brought a multitude of questions around my diagnosis, treatment and what should I be doing. So, with all of this and feeling like my GP/Local NHS service did not care I looked for a private service and found Oxford Brain and Mind. They have helped provide a lot of clarity and insight into my mental health (via an Initial new patient psychiatric consultation), yes, it is annoying they can't provide the solution or treatment for my diagnosis. However, they were open about this and still provided detailed next steps (e.g., Therapy and the type). As well as since the initial assessment, further questions became known around specific areas when questioned by other Professionals (CMHT, GP) which with a quick follow-up consultation I have received clarity again.I really like the fact that I now feel I am free and encouraged to look into & explore my mental health while knowing I have access to this amazing service which will help provide clarity when I need it.If you need more to decide as it’s never easy, please see below:Regarding the admin team, Pros are below and there were no Cons:- Friendly, Kind, helpful, supportive, and very easy to deal with(Note: Communication over email only)Regarding the Psychiatrist (Dr Malhotra). The Pros below and there were no Cons:- They are Impressive. - There experience shows as they ask detailed orientated questions and propose ideas on their thoughts to gauge reaction to help their conclusion- Personable (Empathetic, Compassionate, and sympathetic) which helped massively as some intrusive questions had to be askedRegarding the Initial new patient psychiatric consultation Service. The Pros below:- Easy to Arrange- Very Competitively Priced- Detailed report/letter including background, revised diagnosis, risks, how they came to the diagnosis and suggested treatment- Sent to your GP for youRegarding the Initial new patient psychiatric consultation Service. The Cons below:- Psychiatrist Prefer in-person (But so do NHS and other services)- Report took over just a month to be completedRegarding the Follow-up Psychiatric Consultation Service. The Pros are and there were no cons:- Easy to Arrange- Very Competitively Priced- Detailed report/letter (Provided quickly) including topics in discussion and next steps- Sent to your GP for you- Can be done online via Google Meet

I first visited Dr Malhotra in May 2023 for confirmation and guidance relating to my recent ADHD diagnosis. Dr Malhotra has guided me through my options and worked to get me to a place where I now feel in control of my life for the first time ever. She is so knowledgeable, an expert in her field, but also so easy to talk to and supportive. I would highly recommend Oxford Brain & Mind.

Was recommended to use this grouo for RTMS therapy to treat treatment resistant depression. While the treatment is pricey it seems to be the usual rate this treatment is charged at and the staff and facility is nice and easy going.

This is the only facility in Oxford that offers rTMS, along with a suite of other services. The ambience of the clinic is immensely soothing and my dominant feeling was that I would be looked after very well by caring and competent clinicians. I had an in-depth chat with both Dr Malhotra and Dr Kumar about the research and experience that guides their practice, which left me very impressed. It is a top-notch facility and I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

It is very exciting to finally have an rTMS centre in Oxfordshire! I had the pleasure to go to the centre and see the state-of-the-art facilities and chat about the different types of therapies offered; I was very impressed. I think it is a centre that grows out of the fantastic academic and clinical backgrounds of the two leads, and which fits in so well into Oxford's recipe of clinical and academic excellence. A gem!
