We booked 3 nights in our camper here but only stayed 1!, turned up to basically what is a field and two electric hook ups in the middle. Had to ask to be moved as diddnt have long enough leads. Also there was only one water supply with no drainage causing a big muddy puddle around the electricity plugs and trips. I’ll add a picture I’m my eyes this diddnt seem safe!Toilets and shower block are new so thumbs up for them although no where to put your dry clothes while having a shower in the wet room cubicle.Pool was ok make sure you book your slot tho. Whilst in pool I noticed a electrical power box some sort of emergency stop that was badly corroded and no longer waterproof. My wife then went to get us drinks from the bar only to find it was shut.Toilet waste disposal was a manhole cover amongst a building site back of toilet block with no signs. This could be a nice little place but more work and facilities needed.Ideal for tents but not motor homes.

BewareCalled in to look at the boat sales in December, very quiet no work being undertaken anywhere near the entrance, parked by the boat sales and then received private parking ticket. This is just a racket so I will not be buying from there and not returning. Judging by the previous reviews I am not the first and will not be the last, Suggest you avoid.

Peaceful, relaxing and pretty. Not a place to take little kids as I would like it to stay that way:)

Tollesbury Marina is an interesting mix of the not so new and the very old. Amazing walks along various paths lead you to an ancient abandonment of boats rotting away for decades. But the meddlesome Maldon Council are arranging forced removal of abandoned boats and restricting how many boats can be used for residential purposes. But there are immense wooden structures on the shore line that are swamped at high spring tides providing an decrepit charm. Maldon Council have locked down the charming bathing basin now infested with rotting algae - oh the charm of bossy bureaucracy. High Spring tides are fun as the access roads are swamped with sea water - kids love the free access to a massive paddling area.
