I'm a landlord living in US with a flat in Cambridge. The team at Admiral have helped me with everything from find tenants to helping design renovations all over email or the occasional phone call. I highly recommend them to any other foreign landlords looking for a reliable agent who can handle anything that gets thrown at them.

As a landlord I would highly recommend Admiral Estates. Geoff and Merryl have been brilliant; a few years ago I was in the position of needing to evict a tenant and they handled the process professionally and swiftly. It is a false economy to try to handle everything yourself; paying an agent with years of knowledge and experience gives you peace of mind. You think it's never going to happen to you but when it did I was so grateful they were there. In fairness to them they had advised me against taking on this particular tenant initially.I was also a tenant in one of their properties when I was a single mum on my own and they showed kindness and understanding through a very difficult time.

When my mum moved in to nursing care, it was time to rent out the family home to help pay the fees. This house is 130 miles from where I live, and I'd been arranging extensive renovations at a distance. These went pretty well, until I had a bathroom fitted by a well-known national firm (who I won't identify, save to say their name rhymes with Incompetent Bunch Of Ticks") and this bathroom fitting caused considerable damage to my nearly-finished property.When the unnamed firm didn't cooperate with rectifying their damage

Admiral Estates were good letting agents until we came to move out of the property, when they attempted to charge illegal checkout fees. They removed the fees when I pointed out they were banned under the Tenancy Fees Act and admitted that they knew they were not allowed to charge the fees, but said they felt justified in doing so - I completely disagree.Their response to this review is simply untrue - the fees I refer were explicitly called checkout" in their invoice.If you are renting from Admiral Estates make sure you know what you can and cannot be charged for!"
