Nice place to relax and enjoy a good cuppa and some food.Next door to the Theatre Soar and they can sometimes have individuals playing music in the courtyard.Lovely welcoming staff

Caffi Soar was the highlight of our trip to friendly Merthyr Tydfil. The lovely man there rustled up fab veggie and vegan breakfasts for us and our two children and took the time to chat with us, giving me a chance to practise my dodgy-but-improving Welsh. He also gave us some advice about climbing Pen y Fan, which is a short drive away and not to be missed! Such a great visit ♥️

Coffee was weak and the reaction by the staff when I raised the issue was not great. Breakfast was as described by the last review, anaemic sausages, poor quality bacon and heaven knows what they are cooking the eggs with. Everything on the plate was cold. Best advice - run a mile.

Good food, with vegetarian options. Decent coffee, all at good prices. Inside and outside seating areas. Quite loud inside when busy but outside is covered at least so no rain. Car park just a short walk away, and near to town centre.

Great place, lovely staff, freshly made food and the portions are huge. Definitely going back here
