These guys are the best and given the choice I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Caversham or Reading for a cut! The complimentary “flame” ear treatment is always a good way to warm up and get rid of ear-fluff, and the free nostril-waxing looks bearable - although it’s made many of Cavs chaps wince and dewey eyed.

The guys in OX1 were awesome today. My 21 months old son and I went in for our hair cuts for the first time. They were super welcoming and made sure my son was comfortable. They had fun car seats for the little ones that kept my son entertained whilst having his hair cut.Prices are also great especially given the level of service. Whilst they aren't my local (20 minutes away for my) I will happily be spending the extra travel time to come for my next cut for both myself and my son.

I have never enjoyed going to the barbers until the ox1 guys. I love it here!So welcoming, friendly and skilled! I had a fantastic experience: nice hair cut and unwanted hair removal also.All just done so well. I felt really pampered and cared for! Thank you!

It’s the best barber shop in caversham. Even if I live in reading I don’t care to travel 30 minutes to come here they deserve it.

The OX1 GUYS
These guys have cut my beard for the last 4 years (covid aside), and have always done a great job. Makes it look smart and feeling sharp. Aswell as just the beard, it's great to get the full pampering including wet shave, nose and ears wax. Most importantly it's a very relaxed atmosphere which makes a nice little 30 mins break in the day :)

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and the guys in the shop never fail to sort me out with great haircut. Definitely the best barber shop in Reading and the best I’ve ever been to.
