St Agatha, Llanymynech
St Agatha's Church is a mid Victorian build, in the Neo-Norman style. The rough limestone walls are dressed with many yellow sandstone features, including ornate head shaped corbels and intricate carvings above the doorways. The large clock on the tower is an attractive and striking feature.Inside the church is an undivided nave and chancel, mostly whitewashed walls and some stone decoration.The small octagonal font and stone pulpit are both late 19th century. The stained glass East window is by William Wailes.

Not sure what age this Church is but it has some extremely old graves . An impressive and very detailed building. A must visit if in the area. Highly recommended,

This church is close to our family .my grandad paid for the lights inside and my grand parents and other family members are buried here

St Agatha's Church is easy to find in Llanymynech village, simply drive along the A483 which is North street, then you will see the church's bell tower. There is plenty of parking around the church. The stone blocks and window columns are particularly attractive. The church yard is well kept.
