I think we are really lucky as islanders to have hurst.Staff have always been helpful and knowledgable.Its good service from 30 years ago.With stock that can be more diverse and cheaper than B&Q.

Definitely try Hurst first. So many things are cheaper than B&Q. I made the mistake of assuming they would be more expensive .Plus there is always someone at hand to ask for advice.Great Shop.

Lot's of products at reasonable prices. This is a great place to buy your Chef knifes and kitchen gadgets and the staff, well! they certainly know how to look after you. Try Hurst first you won't be disappointed.

I have lost count of the number of times that Hursts has come to my rescue.It's one of the first shops I think of when I need something for a job or for the kitchen and 8 times out of 10 it has what I need.I'd say the only downside is the price for some items is a bit steep but hey, I guess they're a small(ish) business on a small island so I can't blame them too much.
