001 Taxis Woodstock

Terrible horrible unprofessional experience. My friends and I were at Soho Farmhouse for the day and planning to catch the last train home to London. We pre-arranged the taxi with the front desk and the taxi service sent us a text message confirming our pick up time and place with plenty of buffer built in. 15 minutes after the designated pick up time we were still waiting in the parking lot with no heads up or communication from the taxi company. When they finally answered the phone they told me the closest driver was still 10-15 min away (meaning he would arrive 30-40 minutes after the confirmed time and we would miss our train). They seemed genuinely unaware of the booking and it was clear there was no one on their way to us. The man on the phone was incredibly rude and unapologetic, and said that it was our fault for not booking with them sooner. Incredibly unprofessional--if this is the case, your system should not be sending detailed confirmation texts with the time and place of the pickup. The only reason we were barely able to make our train is because the kind gatekeeper at Soho speed drove us in his personal car to the station after we were forced to sprint to the exit.Also @soho farmhouse please refer a different taxi companyTLDR: NOT reliable, will confirm but not show, rude and unapologetic
