In general higher prices than average stores, but very very good quality of food and a very eco/animals/human philosophy behind the products. Free range eggs only, fair trade product etc etc...Also good discount prices from time to time.

Coop, situated on Hebden Bridge's manic Market Street complements a town that is already well served with a number of niche grocers. Pick your time carefully to get on or off Market St, but the store has a car park that seems to cope with demand and the store is stocked with more variety than the label convenience store" implies. The geordie chap on the self check outs is always extremely helpful and a lovely guy. I honestly think he genuinely brings a lovely positive and friendly atmosphere to the whole store. The 5 stars is solely for his outstanding service

Good selection of food but much overpriced due to the new living costs £ 3.75 for a sandwich is not cheap now with rising costs. I found the happy geordie guy on till great give him a pay rise :)

Has everything you need and wouldn't trade it for any other main supermarket in Hebden Bridge. Sometimes quite pricey but good for quick basics like bread and milk.Would recommend but not for weekly shops just for bits and bats that you didn't order with your weekly shop!

Nice local Co-op. Some good deals, but can be pricier than main supermarkets. Red headed older lady on checkout needs to smile a bit more. As a 'tourist' not made welcome

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Charlotte at the Hebden Bridge store. I have a medical condition which means I need the toilet urgently and unexpectedly. After finding all public toilets closed I went to the Co-op to see if they had toilets, which they didn't. By this point I was almost in tears. I explained my predicament to Charlotte working on the customer service desk and without any hesitation or fuss, she discreetly took me to the staff toilets. It might seem like a small thing but I can't tell you how grateful I am for this act of kindness. Wonderful service, thank you Charlotte!

Security guards make it super obvious they're following you. It's actually funny making them do up and down the shop when I'm only getting 1 thing. To be honest it's rude. I'm a working man. Respectable. Leave me alone bud....
