Shore Road Beach

Summer evenings are busy here, with road side parking full but with such a spectacular view, that's understandable. A short walk away in either direction is a Tesco, cafe and a fish & chip shop.

The particular part of the coastline is spectacular. Stunning place and even on what should have been a full house on the seaside, there was ample enough space to not feel like another number. There was a convenient tesco nearby for snacks and drinks during the day with a conveniently located toilet facility. We had dinner at a pizza in town called Baffi Canford Cliffs which is amazing. Both the pasta and pizza here are very good. Ice been to Sandbanks several times in the past and it hasn't changed one bit. A permanent A plus for this beach.

Lovely, clean, beach. Negative things :Limited space to eat,Car park overpriced,No where information about dogs, which would be helpful for dogs owners.So just to inform everyone you are NOT allowed walk on the beach witch your dog between 1st of May and 30th September.

Great sandy beach that doesn't allow dogs from May to Sept. Deck chair rental, I've cream kiosk and clean toilets within easy reach. Life guarded swimming made it feel very safe. Despite it being a nice sunny afternoon it wasn't too busy.We each had an ice cream with a great range of flavours. I had honey and fig which was very enjoyable. There is a hydration station" near the loos to top up your water bottle too."

Beautiful beach. Really clean and picturesque with some Cafes along the front to sit and enjoy the view.

This beach is next to Sandbanks beach. One of the best beaches. Lovely sand and you can see along to Hengisbury Head to your left and round past Studland and Shell Bay to Old Harry Rocks to your right. A very hot but hazy day in my photo....and very early.

A beautiful place all year round to see the ever changing seasons with the Purbeck Hills in the background to the SW and the sweeping beachscape of Poole Bay to the E. During the peak season it is very busy so parking nearby is difficult after 09:00. Better to walk or cycle to avoid the hassle of queues to get anywhere. The beaches are clean and sandy, the water a refreshing delight on a hot day and the scenery idyllic. Food, drinks and ices are available at various points, but obvs popular, so consider bringing your own and remember to leave only footprints.
