Absolutely great. The pod was super clean and surprisingly spacious. The common kitchen and living room felt more luxurious than your standard hostel and overall, the vibe was quite relaxed. The bathrooms were brilliant and the privacy was exceptional. The only issue is that there was construction outside the room by the windows so the builders could see in and it was quite loud at times. Also, the street was extremely dirty but the amazing interior and service of the staff when I couldn’t access my locker more than made up for it

Stayed here for 1 night with 2 of my family members and it was so much more clean and comfortable than we expected for a lodging with no reception! There are 2 rooms and 1 bathroom/toilet per floor which makes things so much more safer and private. The facilities in the kitchen and common area were also so comfortable and clean. Definitely coming back here again in the future!

I stayed at the Loft for one month and cannot recommend it highly enough. It's an excellent hostel, everything is always kept clean and tidy and the staff were always lovely and friendly. It's nice and quiet too. Location is absolutely perfect - you're right in the middle of the city. The kitchenette on the ground floor makes it convenient to prepare your own meals, and most things you need e.g. utensils, pots, basic ingredients are already there. Overall 10/10 experience, loved it and would definitely come again.

The way all hostels should be. Clean, affordable, and fun. I love that the pods feel a lot more like your own space than a typical hostel. The place was very clean and the staff was always ready to help. The location is prime and I enjoyed walking out to a view of the castle. I cannot think of a single complaint.

Great place to visit, located in the strict centre of the city. The hostel is quite comfortable and very clean. You can actually have a very good sleep in the pods :) The staff member Danusia makes sure everything’s in order and always gives a helping hand. But the most importantly she is a good spirit of the place. I recommend a stay there to anyone looking for an option at reasonable price and a place with great energy!

First night here in the dorm now, am in a room with 9 beds/pods and it's quiet, not sure if there's anybody else sleeping right now. Lights are off except for some LEDs lighting up the floor so we dont trip, dont dare to turn the lights on in case I wake somebody up. Going in and out of my locker is noisy so I'll get my clothes in the morning, will likely keep my toothbrush, usb cable and toothpaste out of the locker during the day so I make less sound when I come back in the evening. The sound of drunk people outside is audible but negligible, at least the karaoke bars are a bit further down Rose Street. Out of the two 5v usb sockets only one works, slowly, so can either charge my phone overnight or my camera, not both. Seeing it's a public space I need to be careful with my stuff, so no charging while I'm out for breakfast. Curious to know how the morning will go once people wake up and start getting ready, kind of anxious now, not used to this. Lastly, I'm 174cm tall and I think my feet are going to stick out beyond the curtains.

During the fringe festival, clean and conveniently located. One of the showers was out of order, and my lock-in code stopped working at 9am on the last day. Got locked out of my room after getting out of the communal bathroom. Hopefully, I had my phone and was able to call the reception.

Teeny older building in the heart of New Town, one block from Princes Street. Great location for food and shopping, with easy access to Waverly train station if you’re taking the train into town.It is hidden in an alleyway, so if you get lost finding it, look for The Standing Order, as the entry way is right next door. This entire experience is like Airbnb meets hostel. You’ll receive an email to “complete registration”, shortly thereafter you’ll receive codes for the door and your assigned room. The door is heavy! Well all of them are, really. The ground floor has a kitchen/lounge. With a fair of seating, storage for food, etc… images on the site look bright but in person it is of course a bit darker.I was on the first floor, in a girls only room. The rooms are teeny, in my room there were 6 pods. Which for privacy works great. The lockers are very slim, not large enough to put in a backpack or suitcase. But you can store valuables, just have to unpack them from larger bags. The rooms are chilly! My stay was at the end of April and the room was quite cold. The bathroom has 2 showers and one toilet. The showers in the space are nice, with two rooms, one for changing and one for the shower, the design means things stay dry that need to.The bathroom stall is large, but the door opens in, so it can be challenging to get in and out. Please post a sign asking people to refill the toilet paper. I was there just two nights and at least 3 times I went to the toilet and the paper was empty. Also suggest a bin with a hands free lid.Overall, an enjoyable stay. I don’t know if I’d book again, as I’m just not a fan of the pod beds for myself.

It's a nice clean hostel. It's style over function here. A lot of the bathroom and kitchen is quite clunky. The bathroom especially could of used a good think before they went ahead with it. They have square toilets but the toilet seat is round making your thighs rest on the porcelain. The lockers would been better if they could of held a full travel back pack (60-80 L) like a stand up locker. I was a little annoyed that the 3 pod mixed included 2 singles and dbl. I would go again and it was at a good price but the little things really started add up.PS providing small blastic baskets for the foods would have been helpful to keep the food storage better sorted.
