Student Roost - Chapel Heights

its a wonderful experience, amazing hospitality with amazing refreshments. Room is more beautiful than anticipated with bang on high speed WiFi. It's 20 minutes walkaway from Durham University and also just 10 minutes away from city centre.

EDIT: So recently they have been opening doors without permission to fix fridges that arent even broken. But if you want some real problem fixed they just say “oh it is how it is, better just deal with it”. And if they decide to be polite, they will make a note of your issue, and once you leave they just throw it in the bin !why they say in october that the heaters will only turn on a specific date" but don't say when it will be? how is this a "luxury" apartment when theres NO HEATING. if you want to clean your room you need to borrow 1 hoover from reception thats shared between EVERY SINGLE tenant. ventilators are so noisy

Beginning with an emphasis on the location, it's PERFECT with all necessities and entertainment within 0.6 miles and things like gym and Cinema room and a super cool common room inside. Access to public transportation is another great factor. Talking about the accommodation it actually meets all your expectations and trust me it's exactly what's been shown on all pictorial descriptions. 100% recommended.

Am having a wonderful time living here. It's a good in-between distance from town and the larger shopping areas to the west, in addition to a series of bus stops nearby depending on where you need to go (including the train station!). The staff are super friendly and willing to help with anything. Being from a different country I initially had many random questions about English life in general, to which they were more than helpful. The room is a decent size, and has plenty of space for random storage.

I am an overseas student and chapel heights made me feel home like here.I saw many student accommodation, but by far this has actually been the best in all areas, the rooms are beautifully made, we have so many things here like gym, cinema room, common room where we can chill.And there are so many amazing events where we could meet new people and have fun.if someone is studying at Durham University, I would totally recommend this place.

Rather expensive, especially the laundry. Sometimes run out of hot water in shower. Not bad location. Quiet environment. Friendly staff.

I loved this place. It is close to the city centre.Very well maintained and the staff is super friendly and extremely helpful.

one of the best accommodations around Durham, Rooms are much better, well furnished and spacious than other accommodations, last but not the least amazing staff and people to be around, However it could be a bit far for some subject students. good gym and great cinema and common rooms. great place to stay.

I have loved living at Chapel Heights since leaving uni halls. Everything is in such good condition, like new, and lovely and modern. Everyone who works here is so nice and makes it feel really homely. Being able to have peace and quiet and my own space as well as a common area and gym makes it good all-round!
