I booked a beginners patchwork class with external teacher Pat. I hadnt touched my sewing machine in a long time and couldn't remember the basics. Beverly was extremely helpful and supportive and made me feel at ease.. Thd session helped boost my sewing confidence and I'm hoping to book another class soo!n

I have really enjoyed the evening sessions, meeting like minded friendly people. Beverly was warm and welcoming and happy to be bombarded with many questions I had; offering practical solutions gained from her wealth of experience. I have been lucky to have had a 1 to 1 afternoon which I enjoyed too. Beverly was very patient, offering advice, guidance and demonstrating her skills. I gained so much and now feel more confident to tackle more complex projects. I look forward to more sessions. I can highly recommend- without hesitation. A big thank you!

Fun with Fabrics - Classes and Tuition
We bought my daughter (age 6) a 121 sewing lesson with Beverly for Christmas. She wanted to make herself a skirt and thats exactly what Beverly showed her how to do. Beverly was amazingly patient, calm and clear with her instructions. It was the most fantastic experience and my very excited daughter left with even more enthusiasm for sewing than she had before. I feel like we found a treasure in Beverly. We will be back.

Fab 121 with Beverly today! The session was fun and informative, and Beverly was patient and very knowledgeable! Wonderful 121 session with Beverly, I haven't sewn since I was at school ( 30+ years ago ) and Beverly supported and walked me through everything I needed to know in an informative and fun way. She has made it easy for me understand things and I have now booked onto my first class with her! Thank you for giving me the confidence to start sewing! ✨

Beverly came to my home to give my 14yo granddaughter a1-2-1 sewing lesson. Miss F had had her machine six years and could sew straight seams, but wanted help tackling zips. Beverly 's patience, quiet manner and experience showed through giving Miss F the confidence to ask when she was unsure about anything. There was no rushing to be out of the door when the time was up, but time was given to finish off the task. Another lesson will be in the pipe line when Miss F visits again.Thoroughly recommend.

Highly recommended. My 11 year old daughter wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine. She went from being shown how to thread the machine to making her own bunting, all in one session. Beverly has so much knowledge and patience, definitely recommended!! Thank you-will be back for future classes!

Had a brilliant day with Beverley making a pair of trousers. I chose to make a replica of a shop bought pair I have which were shocking quality. Now I know how to make them, I'm not sure I'll bother with fast fashion any more! Very helpful class, lots of things to learn and a really welcoming environment. Thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you!

Just had the best day today making a gonk. Beverley's class was clear, structured and perfect for me as a novice. It wasn't rush and I was in very safe, patient hands with lots of support along the way. So pleased to have found this lovely lady, can't wait to go back!
