I bought a car from Ecars nearly two years ago. Been meaning to write a review for ages.I called Si, he told me all about the car. It was a Sunday and he agreed I could go and have a look that afternoon.We got there and Si was very friendly and showed us around the car and took us for a test drive. We agreed a price, I paid a deposit and agreed to pick the car up a few days later.On the day of pick up (I had got the train to Bolton) Si picked me up from a near-by supermarket. We had another look round the freshly valeted car and completed the purchase with a bank transfer.Si went through all the car documentation and explained the warranty.The experience was simple.Above all this... The car has been faultless.

Excellent service the sales chap Si was amazing and really helpful. I wanted a car for my wife and after going though a few we found the BMW was a perfect match.Si spent over 2 hours with us and we went on serval test drives. You don’t get this sort of treatment nowadays .Would differently go back for my next car.

On the 05/10 My wife, enquired about a BMW Coupe advertised on Autotrader.Si insisted that the only way we could pay was via bank transfer, which upon further investigation is very very unsafe. You literally have zero protection.The vehicle was delivered to us around Midday, and what a state it was! Every alloy was damaged, the paint was dull and the thing stunk so we immediately contacted “Si” to reject the car. WOW! We where met with a barrage of abuse and threats, apparently where we live is also “Si’s” “Hometown” (I suspect every customer lives in his “home town” though) and he knew where we lived very well if we wanted him to come around, an offer he never followed through on.We informed “Si” that we were fully entitled to reject the car without reason within the first 14 days under the distance selling regulations and as he didn’t at any point inform us of this the right was actually extended to 12 months. “Si” refused to accept this and continued he aggressive and threatening rant.“Si’s” rude, offensive, threatening and intimidating nature towards my wife during the phone call was disturbing and wholly unnecessary and left her in tears. “Si” later called back and informed us that after speaking with his “Business partner” he would accept the car back as long as we delivered it back the next day.Me and my wife travelled to the address to return the car and after eventually finding the completely un signed dodgy back street shed we telephoned “Si” in an attempt to locate him and return the car. After an hour he eventually appeared.Upon meeting “Si” he was immediately extremely aggressive, intimidating and rude at one point he seemed to think thrusting himself into my face and shouting extremely loudly would have some impact upon our desire to return the very poorly described car he had mis sold, He very oddly also seemed to think shouting about the results of “googeling” both our names and the “Dodgyness” of my wife’s recent change of maiden name would also persuade us to not return the car. I feel sure “Si” will post the results of he googeling in response to this…I’d like to reiterate that the level of intimidation received by my wife and myself was completely unacceptable and entirely unnecessary for a consumer merely exercising their rights.Whilst at the extremely dodgy looking lock up shed “Si” walked around the car and pointed out a small scratch of approx. 1cm by the fuel cap and the fact the mileage had increased by approx. 100 miles, later that day he sent us a text message listing several scratches to pretty much all panels on the car. None of these where present when we returned the car.“Si” has since failed to return mine and my wife’s payment for the car and we are now out of pocket. In short exercise extreme caution when dealing with this company. There are loads of reputable car dealers out there doing a brilliant job, this guy isn’t one of them, so in short if your happy to buy a car with zero financial protection or recourse, would like your private life delved into by a very dodgy character and potentially lose a lot of money this seems the right dealer!

I had a terrible experience with eCars Ltd in Bolton and their owner, Si. I purchased a car from them and after only driving it a short distance, the engine light came on and it went into limp mode. Si took the car back for repairs but when it was returned to me, it was in even worse condition. I had to pull over on the motorway multiple times due to a loss of power and a grinding sound from the front wheel. Despite asking for invoices for the repairs, I was never provided with them. I eventually took the car to a specialist who fixed all the issues, but at a high cost. When I asked Si for assistance with the expenses, he ignored me. I would highly advise anyone considering purchasing a car from eCars Ltd to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and beware of Si's lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction.

Usual BS whilst being sold a car, car seemed to be in great condition, then noticed knocking on suspension and engine fault light came on. The guy was your best friend whilst selling you the vehicle, but call him up and couldn't off been less bothered. Should of gone with my instincts!

Si has been absolutely amazing! I have found my dream family car and got it all sorted in less than a week (sorry for me mithering you) he was very patient with me and o would highly recommend his cars to anyone .. thank you

First of all, transferred money into their account by mistake they resolved the problem straight away and gave me the money back.Secondly I still have the same car I bought from them over 4 years ago now its done over 200,00 and still going strong. best car i've ever hadhighly recommend Ecars

Bought a stunning Jaguar S type from E Cars, Si was easy to deal with, pragmatic and fair. Anything I asked him for he dealt with straight away,, the car is amazing as was his service well and truly recommended
