Had a couple of rolls for dinner. Can’t say they’re the best I’ve had but they’re totally one of the best I’ve had in the UK. Fresh salmon and tuna, nice big cuts, lovely presentation. Big portions as well. Attentive and happy staff. The only downside were the wasabi paste and the pickled ginger. Zero quality. Wasabi was like green mud, no taste and horrible texture. The pickled ginger was so dry like it’s been kept out of its pickled juice for ages. Took out a star for that sorry. Will come again tho.

Pretty good but nothing to shout about. The portion size was great for the sushi though, maybe even too big pieces...The staff were extremely attentive and friendly but that's probably because there was only one other person in there. I almost felt like I was being watched.It could also do with some ambient background music as it was dead silent in there.

This place is a real find. Delicious and well prepared sushi and tasty hot dishes. Not too expensive either!I was really hungry, having skipped both breakfast and lunch and ended up here at about 4pm. I ordered the salmon bento box and also some salmon nigiri whilst I was waiting. It turns out I didn't need to order the nigiri (although it was excellent) because the bento box was so big! I didn't realise. For £12.99 that box is an absolute bargain. Take a look at the pictures! I will certainly be back.

New review - Came again this weekend and the food is just is great but service was alil disappointing this time. We were shown to our table but were given no plates or cutlery and had to ask for everything. Apart from that the staff were nice and the food was delicious. Ordered 2 main courses and 2 sushi plates between 3 of us with drinks for under £57 which ain't bad. My steak bento box came late and was too starving to take a pic but it was delicious. I'd come again but wish there were more noodle and rice main courses. We weren't charged for a takeaway box to take our leftovers back.---------------------------------------------Original review - A nice new sushi joint which china town needs more of. Prices are more expensive than wasabi sushi but the quality is much better. Nice thick cuts of sashimi. Ordered a duck bento box and was very pleasantly surprised. My gal demolished a sushi sharing platter to herself and she eats nothing which says alot of the food. Decor nice and staff lovely. No compulsory service charge. Relatively quiet when visiting. Can't wait to go again to try the full menu.

What a nice dinner! We have kinda booked (1 hour before turning up) and managed to get a table even if the place was pretty busy. Our waitress was very courteous and polite. The food was great, the only dish we didn’t like was the tofu, because it came cold, perhaps would have been best to have it specified on the menu. The sushi was awesome, and so were the drinks we had. Highly recommend.

I was full after I left the restaurant, but the rolls there were quite plain. It was strange to have fish cake crab on top of the rice roll instead of wrapping it inside. The rolls were also way too much rice for each piece. Also, the fried prawn was cold, but the rice was warm. The quality of the fried prawn and the sashimi in the roll can be better. The fried roll was quite good compared to other dishes.And, they gave a hot glass for beers. Very nice.All in all, if you are starving and not picky, it is totally fine.
