Detailed bronze statue honouring all of the horses that worked at the Liverpool docks hauling equipment/goods over the span of 250 years. The sculpture is called 'Waiting' and was designed by Judy Boyt.

The Working Horse Monument
A beautiful and life-like bronze statue of a horse, created by British sculptor Judy Boyt. It commemorates all the working horses that toiled on Liverpool's docks, pulling heavy loads between the ships and the warehouses and goods trains. They transported just about everything from timber and steel girders to foodstuffs from all over the world. Some really brilliant detail on the sculpture. One of several iconic sculptures dotted around the waterfront.
