Just...wow! Thank you so much Simon (owner and fitter and fountain of knowledge with so many years experience!), Paul (excellent Plasterer) and Mark (shop manager). What a fantastic team. Thank you, thank you, thank you.We have just had 2 stoves fitted in the last couple of days. The team have been fantastic from start to finish. Mark was helpful in the shop, friendly and polite and organised the installation. Simon and Paul came when they were supposed to, cracked straight on, I've never known any company/tradesperson cover and dust sheet up like they did. They were as clean and tidy as they could be. I can't speak highly enough of them! They are so efficient, polite, respectful, clean (as much as possible with what can be such a messy job), and friendly. You can really tell they take pride in their work. The result was perfect. Not a single thing to complain about.We have had a log fire fitted in our previous house by a different company (local, but not mentioning any names) and the difference in the quality of work....100%...and The Firehouse were actually cheaper, but their work is definitely not! I had a quote from a 3rd company before choosing Simon's, and they were slightly cheaper, but I could tell Simon was going to be good and professional. If you are after a stove, just don't hesitate, choose these guys!I'm not being paid to bull these guys up by the way....Just a very happy customer indeed. ;)I'll be wanting them back for a service and chimney sweep next year!

Came out to do a home survey to fit a wood burning stove which they did on time. Then before leaving he said will be in touch with pictures of suitable fires to choose from and a quote. Not heard anything after 1 month. Waste of time. I can understand if they do not want the job but they should let people know and not keep you dangling. I cannot abide with tradesmen who give you false promises.

Well organised plenty of selection to view so you get a real feel of what the stove would look like in your home. Knowledgeable staff both in shop and fitter (survey) good understanding of buyers needs.

Great service from Simon and staff at The Firehouse. From choosing the stove to installation communication has been prompt and helpful. They removed our gas fire, opened up fireplace and installed a stove, arrived when they said they would and cleaned up well when they had finished. Overall a very positive experience and would happily recommend to others. Having compared several company's quotes for this work I am very pleased we went with The Firehouse.

Friendly helpful staff with a good understanding of our needs. Shop well set out with prices clearly displayed.Survey carried out as arranged.Unfortunately due to the demand we have a slight wait for installation but this is not an issue.

As others have said, great experience with stove installation, but satisfaction in their service disappears if you want them to regularly sweep and service your stove. I understand that they will make more money for installation and will prioritise this, but they need a better system for managing appointments and you are left with the impression that they simply don't care. I asked for a sweep and service in October 2020 - appointment booked in January as nothing sooner. Cancelled 15 minutes before they were due. Nobody got back in touch. Asked again in April and rebooked, then they cancelled again at short notice, was told I would hear and nobody got in touch. What a way to alienate loyal customers.

Absolutely first class service from start to finish. Simon talked us through the process of installing a wood burner, with no pressure to buy.The installation itself took 3 days. Simon and Paul didn't stop all day and they were the tidiest tradesmen we've ever had in the house. At the end of each day the living room was left tidy and all rubbish cleared.I cannot recommend this company enough. Thanks again Simon and Paul!

Need more stars for this review! We had a Multi-fuel burner fitted by The Firehouse and could not be more happy! From start to finish it was a great experience with no pressure, even the fitters were professional, friendly & helpful. I can't express enough, if you're thinking of getting a burner, wood, Multi-fuel, gas or electric. Don't go anywhere else! Just head down to The Firehouse!!!
