Fantastic local pop-up outdoor cinema with an impressive selection of diverse British films. Sitting under the stars to watch Orlando this year was a magical experience! If you live in SE London, be sure to go at least once this summer!

Magical evening in the beautiful surroundings of Beckenham Place Park. Wonderfully organised evening, yummy food and great company. Looking forward to the next screening.

What a magical experience! We were captivated by the Alfred Hitcock film The Lodger with the amazing pianist playing a love score. Very comfortable seats and super quality sound and screen. Go and enjoy this!

I used to go to the cinemas at least once a week but in the last 18 months I was able to go just once. When I knew about this fantastic open air pop up cinema, I couldn't resist. All my great expectations didn't let me down.The big (very big indeed) screen literally caught my eyes. The venue is surprisingly awesome and people are friendly. Homestead Cafe is in the middle of a huge green area, a treasure in London. And service is also good. I had a couple of beers, and as the bar is at the back, the hussle and bustle to order a drink or pizza don't interfere with the screening.I felt the exquisite pleasure of those British people in the late 19th century and early 20th century, guided by the master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock. The Lodger is a silent movie with the star Ivor Novello. I then realised why there's a theatre named after him. What an actor! The Lodger was the perfect debut choice. We are going back in time, the good times.I do have to mention that the pianist playing during the film helped me get into the mood of horror" and "suspense". It was as if he was playing for Novello to get out of the screen and chase all the pretty ladies in the audience

What a wonderful evening. Dog & family friendly, calm vibes (a buzz but didn't feel like you were in London, in a good way), staff were really nice and welcoming, great food and drink selection, quality screen and sound. The perfect date night. Got more for my money than I expected!! We will be back. Thoroughly recommend.

One of my favourite parks made even better by these guys!!. A super viewing experience, gorgeous park setting, seamlessly organised, cozy set up and delicious pizzas! Highly recommend :)

100% would recommend it! I had the greatest time watching The Lodger. Amazing, cozy atmosphere. Comfortable seats, delicious pizza. Great quality image and sound for the screening.The park is absolutely beautiful, so it's a good idea to go earlier for a walk.

I truly recommend this festival. Everything is very well planned in the smallest details; from the choice of films, the place is charming and welcoming, surrounded by nature with comfortable chairs. The attention of the organizers, who receive the audience at the door as if they were receiving in their own living room is so lovely. The kindness continues at the end of the session. The organizers chatting to people without rushing them to leave. This festival is not only a place to watch a good movie, it is an event to make new friends, talk about cinema, music, theater, culture in general. Congratulations to the organizers!
