Progressive Care is a great place to work. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. All departments work in a professional way and have established policies and procedures in place. The salary is based on how qualified and with the increase we have had, we are now part of the National Living Wage!The facilities are fab. We have access to free tea and coffee and other kitchen facilities.I'm glad I made the decision in moving to this company 6 months ago!

Progressive Care have just announced they are “temporarily “ closing my Mums care home. They have given us 28 days notice to find somewhere else. Offered no support in finding anywhere else “not our responsibility “. Only interested in blaming QCC. We have always found the care home staff amazing but seem to be treated appallingly by the management of Progressive Care.

The Unit in Matlock is absolutely outstanding staff have all the service users best interests at heart and it really feels more like a big supportive family rather than just staff and service users.Completely Relaxed environment without any pressure and support is offered rather than forced, staff truly want everyone to pass their assessments and will do their absolute best to support this.Management should honestly be so proud of the staff and themselves as the service they’re providing is absolutely brilliant as someone has grown up in the system and seen many residential placements the majority that don’t care at all and put money above all else progressive care Matlock isn’t one of these places and judging off your premises in Matlock if the other placements are the same progressive care is the best service provider out there with beautiful homely accommodation and care staff that care so so much about the difference they are making in the families accessing these services lives…Honestly Can’t Recommend Them Enough & I wish for the future that other service providers will take a leaf out of progressive cares book…Once again thankyou so much progressive care for giving me a chance and supporting me to be the best Mom I can be…

HORRIFIC!In all honesty the staff you work with are great, but that is because you are all in the same position and genuinely care for the role, you're in.Management don't care, HR don't care, the OWNERS do not care! You are left to defend for yourselves, UNDERSTAFFED and OVERWORKED!Please do not waste your time and effort. In three years' time it will haunt you, you'll have bailiff's doing their job and ignorant solicitors, on behalf of progressive care, to deal with.Please, AVOID.(1 star as it does not offer anything less)

I assure you, if I had the option to rate them lower, I definitely would. This is by far the worst company I have encountered. I strongly advise against working for them. Many of the positive reviews they’ve received are likely coerced. They tend to hire people based on misleading information.Either they’ll terminate your employment or if you express your intention to leave, they’ll impose a fee for mandatory training, which they claim comes from a separate entity. Trust me it’s not worth it!! They tried to charge me over £1000 for mandatory training after they dismissed me, all because I held them accountable for honouring their commitment to cover my transportation expenses, as agreed upon during my interview. This company is extremely fraudulent. They’ve partnered with a legal firm to uphold their questionable practices, enabling them to continue their exploitative behaviour unchecked.They employ a tactic of claiming there is a mandatory training fee to discourage individuals from seeking opportunities elsewhere, a practice that would be unnecessary if they were an ethical employer. The leaving of employees from this company is a testament to their overbearing workloads. A more compassionate and respectful treatment of their staff would likely result in fewer departures. During my interview, I was misled about the purpose of the training fee, being told it was not for mandatory training but rather for training to be a social worker.

Does not deserve 1 star. For a company that is supposed to support vulnerable people in the community they do not care about putting there previous staff under stress when sending bailiffs to your home for training fees!! Absolutely disgusting. Should be ashamed of themselves, the company is just money driven. I’ve worked for the care sector for over 20 years and never known a company like it. Work for the council or nhs avoid this company at all costs!!! If you leave within 2 years they charge you £1,000 people move on for a number of difference circumstances and to charge people for basically not staying for 2 years is outrageous. Read the other reviews and avoid avoid avoid!!

Since leaving Abbeyfield, Family assessment center, I have been back to visit. I loved working there so I couldn't wait to go back and do some voluntary work for them.On my arrival back, I have seen nothing but great changes, from redecorating to changes in the service provided to the clients. The new manager has done an amazing job making the service her own pride and enjoy.There are many negative reviews about this service but I would like to encourage any hard working individual to give it a try, I know if you work hard for them you will get there support and gratefulness back.It's nice to see the service thrive so much.

I would give 0 stars if possible. They hired me under false pretenses. During the application, interview and initial training they did not ask if I was vaccinated for COVID19. 7 days into training I am dismissed because they are forcing all workers to be vaccinated, if not they are being dismissed. They have told me I have to pay back £350 in training fees and have left me jobless as I left my previous job for this one. DO NOT WORK HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR STAFF.
