The Salvation Army Donation Centre+

My wife and I recently bought a three piece suite from the Reed street store in Hull. It was a recliner with the armchairs and outer sofa seats reclining. It was delivered early on Wednesday morning as promised. The guys on the van were absolute professionals, very courteous and polite, great to talk too, and well mannered. They both showed utmost care both for our delivered suite and also the suite we donated. I cannot thank them highly enough for the professional attitude they showed. Another great buy thank you all

As a charity shop I was surprised the volume of stock,well worth a look for a bargain

The shop is great but Dad bought a dryer, which turned out to be faulty. We had to wait a week for it to be picked up, but it was the fact they wouldn't refund the delivery fees. After complaining, he got given half of it back.I respect it's a charity, but they still have to check things are in a safe and working order (Unless it's advertised otherwise). This was evidently not done. Now Dad's out of pocket and no dryer.

Good shop. Some nice stuff if your there at the right time before the dealers get there. Prices ok most of the time can get expensive. On the whole I would say best one in town, and I've been round a few. Emmaus also good.

They have good stuffs, I just feel they are quite expensive for charity

I just wanted to congratulate everyone at the Salvation Army Donation Center in Hull. It is such a refreshing change to find somewhere, wheelchair accessible, and run in professional and friendly way. I love this place... you HAVE TO support this space.

They came to collect a sofa and two double cuddle chairs with a solid wood coffee table, two solid wood side tables and a wooden TV stand from me as I was moving house and didn’t want to take them with them. In and out in 15 minutes, really polite and nice guys! Highly recommend!
