Fantastic company. It's the first time that I've used this company and it won't be the last. I ordered some hard to find plants from them and they arrived very well packed and in great condition and in good time. The plants are a good size and very healthy and would happily recommend this place to anyone.

Have bought from Shire plants two years in a row now. The website is really helpful to let you know what conditions and soil type the plant needs. Don't be put off by the small size of the pots, the plants will grow. I now have some thriving plants growing in my heavy clay soil. The salvia is attracting pollinators.

Very impressed with Shire Plants and the website is really helpful too. My plants are really taken off in the garden, and were received in very good condition. I recently started a bog garden mostly planted with plants from here (candelabras, meadowsweet, Damara Peltata and Astilbe etc) and they are growing almost overnight. Would recommend.

Apart from the specialist nurseries from whom I purchase herbs or native wildflowers, this plant nursery is the absolute best in the UK. From Shire you get consistently high standards in range of plants on offer as well as superior delivery. The plants you receive are healthy, well rooted, often flowering (no plug plants stuck into 9cm pots!!) Shire uses recyclable plant protection so no plant is damaged. Delivery is fast too (5 to 7 working days). An extra plus is the historical and/or mythological information Shire provides with each plant on their website in addition to the fulsome advice re position, soil etc. Wish I could give Shire 10 x 10 x 10 stars!!

Ordered five plants, they were tiny and looked pretty poor. I did feedback my concerns but was met with curt look ok to me" response. Two have since shuffled off this mortal coil. I won't be buying again."
