Cymbiosis has done service on my LP12 before, I have purchased products there. Recently had my LP12 packed for a move abroad, would not go anywhere else. Honest, professional, patient customer service, with a knowledge of products I do not think you will find anywhere else. If you think Peter and co are not the best go everywhere else before. Or otherwise save your time and go there first.

I cannot recommend Cymbiosis highly enough. Wonderful location, easy parking, friendly, accomodating and highly knowledable staff. You will get expert service and honest advice with a no pressure sales approach.I drove a 4 hour round trip to get my newly aquired LP12 upgraded, spent a lovely morning with Peter who could not have been any more friendly and helpful. I also had a crash course in LP12 history and functionality which completely demystified the deck for me, I now feel 100% in tune with it and where I may want to take it to in the future. Although it sounds so amazing now they may have to wait a while for my return.If you want anything hifi related just go you will not be dissapointed.

Refreshingly Cymbiosis are a real Hifi stockist, a commodity becoming harder to find in Leicestershire. They stock a wide range of Hifi from modest, right up the scale, and they are a Linn LP12 specialist (probably second to none in the UK). Their friendly staff have a modern sense of helping the customer, I,e. In a relaxed way, but with proper old-fashioned (in a great way) customer service values. They helped me choose the right turntable for my needs and budget (sadly an LP12 was out of my reach), and I have made a number of purchases from them since. They’re have also been extremely swift and helpful in solving a small issue I had with one item I purchased (thanks Phil).Very highly recommended for either the Hifi enthusiast, those getting into vinyl, or audiophile streaming!

Drove the 240 miles round trip to see Peter Swain last month- for an LP12 rebuild and to upgrade a few components- and boy was it worth it! What Peter doesn't know about LP12's isn't worth knowing, but by being present during the service, the whole TT is brilliantly demystified. The experience was fantastic, and the sound quality of my TT is now unbelievable. Worth every penny, and I couldn't recommend Cymbiosis more highly. Thank you.

Superb hifi business… Peter knows more about setting up a Linn Lp12 turntable for max performance than Linn does than themselves. When you take your pride and joy for servicing or upgrade he also educates you on correct setup , packing etc..
