We have used Cunningtons for the sale of our house and purchase of another. Surinderpal has been amazing. Everything has been handled efficiently and promptly and we have been kept up to date every step of the way. I would highly recommend Cunningtons and specifically Surinderpal for property conveyancing.

I would really steer away from Cunningtons. We used them for our purchase in 2020 and we put the poor correspondence down to the pandemic and the crazy market at the time. However, it seems this is still the case. Our buyers instructed them as their solicitor and their frustration with them was palpable.When we got to the point of exchange it just seemed their solicitor did everything in their power to delay it happening – we had to wait a month to exchange after our purchase was ready to go because of their delays. We almost lost our purchase because of it. They would rarely reply to any emails and when they did, they would ask the same queries we had answered multiple times before. There was an instance of having an email to release funds bounce back but it then took them two days to resend the same email despite us being clear we wanted to exchange that week. Another time they said they would exchange when my solicitor rang... and they failed to pick up the phone for hours (and still then refused to set up exchange). Even when they had all the documents they needed, they refused to respond to emails requesting exchange. And probably one of the most aggravating things of this all - they then had the nerve to charge our buyers a £100 expedited completion fee... because of their own delays!!!Just to give you an idea of how terrible they are at communicating, we received a grand total of four emails when we used them in 2020. Compare that to over 40 from the solicitor we instructed this time round, without including all the calls. Terrible service from a chain firm who have no interest in their clients' needs.
