We visited the restaurant on Saturday noon and it was busy. We ordered today’s grilled sushi and Tonkotsu Pork ramen and they were both delicious. The pork was tender and the broth was rich. The toasted rice tea was tasty also.

When to the original one on Glasgow, used to be Rumours back in the day.Cosy wee place, big one is just down the road.Food is awesome, if you like ramen, then this is the place. So tasty and comfort food and tastes so hearty (if you like spice, get the hell sauce in your ramen) Sushi is fresh and well made.Service is on point. A regular place for me in Glasgow.Also plenty of veg options and it is halal which is a bonus.

My husband and I visited Maki and Ramen couple of days ago for the first time and did not leave disappointed. Everything was perfect from the very start: warm welcome from the staff, authentic decor, delicious food cooked to perfection - hats off to the chefs! Our waitress Evelina was very helpful, walked us through the menu and made some good recommendations.Will definitely come back soon!

Maybe the most delicious ramen I have ever eaten. Everything in the bowl was cooked perfectly. The pork, the soup, the noodles, the egg. Can’t find anything for deductions of the marks for the food. The staff are polite and considered. No kids menu.

Wonderful experience as always and perfect birthday treat. Pair your visit with some of theor amazing itison vouchers and you have the perfect evening of food and saki!Wonderful atmosphere and staff and highly recommended for amazing sushi and ramen.Highly recommend the Octopus !

We found this place through tik tok!The restaurant was so stunning inside, the note pad drawings on the wall were such a nice touch - was lovely looking at them all while we waited for our food.I ordered the ‘Hell Ramen’ and although I didn’t find this at all spicy, it was still delicious and definitely one of the best ramen dishes I’ve had.I don’t eat meat so I gave the pork belly to my friend who said it tasted slightly rubbery and not how it should - however, I thoroughly enjoyed it without so I can’t complain!

I came for the first time, the food was amazing, the server Ewelina was so lovely and helpful. Made me feel very welcome. As you come in they greet you. Atmosphere was so cute everyone just having a nice meal. Would highly recommend

I’m a Japanese food lover and as soon as I saw 4.7 from 1.5K reviews made me expect so highly… The tonkotsu ramen is good - the broth is tasty, I like the way the pork is thinly sliced.But that’s why I gave 4 stars for the sushi, as it is not well made - the rice is not knead as much (and yes, maybe too little rice in one sushi roll) so it’s broken into pieces the moment you dip it into the soy sauce.And the chicken teriyaki is also not as expected, although it is one of their recommendations. The outer layer is crispy and nice. The sauce made it a bit too tasty - both salty and sweet. So when you put it in your mouth, you only taste the teriyaki sauce as long as the outer layer is still there and when it comes to the meat, it’s a bit disappointing because the meat is bland.
