Great service at Ride St Albans today! Had a problem with the gears on my daughter’s bike. Lewis immediately saw the problem and fixed it in no time. He also then oiled the chain and put air in the tyres without being asked. Thanks for the speedy and friendly service Lewis - very much appreciated! I would highly recommend

Wow, what a fantastic service by Mick and Lewis. I had neglected my bike for a while and it really had become unrideable however after a couple of days with the guy's I honestly did not recognise my own bike and it felt just like riding a new bike. Really pleased with the service and would recommend to anyone and all at a very reasonable price. Thanks Mike and Lewis.

Absolutely delighted with Ride St Albans. They were happy to look at my mountain bike even though it was in a pretty rough way. They were so helpful and friendly and the bike has never felt better to ride after getting it back. Would highly recommend and definitely going back.

Went in today, panicking that I couldn't get the tyre back on my wheel (following repairing a puncture), as needed to pick up my daughter from school. The guy was very friendly and took the time and effort to fix the wheel, whilst explaining where I had gone wrong. He refused to take any payment. What an amazing place. I'll be taking my bikes there in the future, that's for certain.

Not normally given to writing reviews but credit where it is due, I didn't have great expectations taking my 30 year old Claud Butler in for major drive train repairs, not only was the job done quickly, the bill was less than the original quote, my bike rides like new again.

Called the shop one day last week to book in for a gears and headset adjustment on my road bike. They said to bring it down whenever was convenient for me. Brought it down and they did both jobs for me on the spot for a very reasonable cost and I was on way in under 10 minutes. Perfect gear adjustment which is not always the case from other shops.With the recent closure of Leavesden Cycle Hub these guys are now my go to shop for all my cycle servicing.

Excellent service from Lewis - rang for help at 3.15pm, popped over to the shop by 4pm, he sorted everything out on a new bike I had bought from Tredz that was supposed to arrive built ready to ride (which it did not). He will definately be our 'go to' for servicing and repairs ongoing and next time we upgrade they will be our first call.

I’ve been taking my bike to Mike and Lewis for years. They always do a fantastic job, no request too big (fitting an ebike converter kit) or too small (straightening handle bars). Lovely guys and a great local shop.

Excellent, friendly service!Brought my young son's bike believing it was likely to need replacing. Very quick assessment and simple fix - could not be happier. Nice to see such a friendly local business! Will definitely use again.
