Horrible steep steps up to shabby unmarked entrance and greeted by shabby looking dog. Then confronted without any welcome by a quite unfriendly woman who gave the impression of wanting to be anywhere else but there. Then was shown round a chaotic collection of fires without añ ounce of interest or enthusiasm. Needless to say we will not be returning

If you need a Wood Burning or Electric Stove this is the place to go! Extensive collection and helpful staff.

Really great to speak with experts about our fireplace project. Plenty of examples on disllay to cover all budgets.

Had similar experience to one of other reviewers. Arranged survey but no-one turned up. Rang to ell them and spoke to a different member of staff who re-arranged home visit. Still no-one arrived. They couldn't be bothered so we went somewhere else.

Delivery date kept moving. Stovax were most likely to blame.Two months after paying cash £2000 we are still waiting for a delivery date. Ukaine was blamed for shortage of steel, I would suggest that it is not prudent to purchase any Stovax stoves. We are still awaiting the expected delivery date. Appalling service from Stovax. We should have realised when we first visited the shop and asked for someone to do a home visit and they never turner up, that we should have gone elsewhere. I think Stovax management must have trained with the NHS. Winter approaching and no stove.

Went to them for advice on a wood burning stove. They were very informative but unbiased, patient, and overall very helpfull. We bough the stove from them and they delivered it to Wiltshire for us. All in all first class service.

They have me some great advise and I really liked the new product they told me about. Sent an email with all the info they wanted about my stove and didn't get a reply but thought a guy would ring me to come round and give me a quote. Heard nothing so rang the Dorchester branch and got told he was on holiday and back next week so I said ok. Next week came and went and heard nothing so rang again and spoke to a guy who was going to come out today ( Friday 25th may 2018 @ 08.30 ) but a no show and my question is to you why not?? Are you all millionaires and don't need the money or work?? I'm surprised your still in business but I guess you don't want mine so someone can have the money as I'm sure there are plenty of companies out there who do what they say!!! Thanks for nothing please avoid this company!!!!Would like to add that my previous msg was nothing to do with the owners but to a guy who does some work for them. Since this Nathan the owner came to my house and did what this guy should have and gave me a quote and excellent advise and helped me pick what I needed and I hope I have not put anyone off with my previous comments as it was not the owners fault. Would deal with Nathan and his staff again. Thanks

Visited with a genuine enquiry. Advised to visit the Dorchester branch following technical advisor visit to our property. We visited Dorchester branch next day. Started to serve us...another customer came in...left us to browse for 15 minutes+! eventually came back with pricing and the gentleman said they would send details in an email. Have heard nothing since.

This place is an absolute joke!I've booked 3 slots for quotes to have a survey for a new fireplace and not once has anyone turned up!?!1st excuse: Guy was ill. That's fine, these things happen.2nd excuse: We forgot to tell the guy about the booking3rd excuse: Forgot to tell him againThis is not how to run a business people!
