Charlie's Pedal Shed

Cannot praise Charlie's Pedal Shed enough. We had two bike issues on our way down to Brighton. Stopped off and they were resolved within 10 minutes. A few members of our group ate and said the food was amazing.Thank you!

I was stranded the side of an A road with a second puncture. A car stopped and the gentleman from Charlie's Pedal Shed took me and the bike to the next town. He gave me an innertube so I could complete the last 20 miles to home. He is a cyclist, generous and I would highly recommend Charlie's Pedal Shed for the care and professionalism.

Charlie serviced my road bike recently and I was really happy with what he did. He asked me questions about any problems with my bike before he started and he was very knowledgable and he advised what he was going to do. Both Charlie and his wife Joanne are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I would highly recommend.

What an amazing couple!They were Superman and Wonder Women for myself and my team. Charlie sorted our bikes while Jo refuelled us we wouldn't have been able to complete our London to Brighton without stumbling across them.

Great place for bikes, picked up Four bikes today (3 for kids and 1 for me).Charlie evidently knows his stuff and really cares about getting you the right bike.Will be back for servicing and bike upgrades.

I had to get some repairs done on both my childrens bikes. We arrived and put the bikes in the bike stands. Charlie was having a busy day but managed to sort one of the bikes out while we were there. We had some lovely cakes and drinks while we waited. Then went home to wait until the other bike was fixed. Excellent service and price for the repairs.

Charlie's Pedal shed is an excellent repairs and service shop located on the London to Brighton tour route. I managed to bust my Bottom bracket and chainset arm (worn splines) a few miles from the shop and luckily hitched a ride with a local who knew about the Shed. Charlie was extremely helpful and quickly worked out that the issue with the chewed splines was likely a bottom bracket misfit - an error I will most certainly not make again. The shop felt heavily community orientated, and I'd be more than happy to have my bike serviced there.The shop sets the bar high for local bike repairs, particularly if you are interested in vintage bikes.Keep up the Good work Charlie!

Great place to stop while out for a ride. Lovely owners and the Sticky Toffee cake was to die for! Will definitely pop in again when we are next passing.

Stumbled on this place by accident when cycling through. Lovely pitstop cafe,great service and couldn't do enough for you when there. Only thing is they need a card machine but bar that it was nice to sit in the garden. Will try and come again
