Touring around wales in a motorhome stopped at six different sites. Stopped at conway holiday park for one night and that was one night to long. The touring pitch was in the purple section of the site very secluded with no view from the back or the sides, hedges around the pitch needed a good trim but worst of all a dirty pair of knickers was hanging on the hedge of the pitch. The swallows nest bar wasn't open so no food available on site. Out of all the six sites we stopped at this is the only one we would never go back to.

My dad has a seasonal tourer on this site, and the family has been visiting for nearly 10 years now.Last week, my mum had a stroke while in the caravan, and my dad had to phone an ambulance (both in their 70s). My husband and I travelled from Liverpool to be with them. I phoned the reception and spoke to a gentleman, i explained that my dad had to call for an ambulance and was just letting him know. He told me no-one was at the reception and asked what time they were arriving. I informed him that my dad had called at 11 a.m., and they said 55 mins it was now 12.30. He said he could not have someone on the reception all day, and if I find out when they are coming, He would send someone to wait in the reception. AGAIN he said he could not justify having a member of staff waiting around all day. Not once did he ask if they were OK, did we need any help, etc. When we arrived, my husband waited at the gate to let the ambulance through.I am utterly disgusted. They have a duty of care and should have some sort of policy for this. I'm hoping my dad looks elsewhere as it's pretty clear they don't care about their regulars. However, I'm sure if my dad owned one of the lodges, it may be a different story. Also, outside the ladies' toilets, they have a switched off chest freezer, an accident waiting to happen .Update: after 10 years of being a loyal tenant at Conwy touring Park he has decided to leave and find somewhere else.

Toilets & showers old and in need of attention. Clubhouse closed during the week and the pitch I was allocated in the purple section was quite scruffy. All this for nearly £40 a night. There are better sites close by which offer much better value. I would not return.

This was our first time at Conwy holiday park, first of all we must thank Farrah ( hopefully spelt correctly), she was so very helpful, after I pitched up in the wrong pitch, explaining why we couldn’t stay there as it would have a knock on effect for everyone else concerned who had been given the pitch I had originally pitched on. After not negotiating a gravel slight hill the caravan didn’t make it to the original pitch, call to Farrah who kindly and efficiently found us an alternative one, second thanks to the two blokes ( Dave, and ?), for all your help and guidance , much appreciated, and thirdly to the young lady on reception, who helped us in getting to Conwy taxiwise, and booking us storage.Lovely location for the park close to town and outlying areas , looking forward to coming in September. On location pub is really run down. Have seen bar staff shout at children inappropriately many times and children likewise behaving inappropriately. Lovely aspects of the site but then pretty much every weekend we have been here we have been kept up well into the early hours by drunk neighbours. My general consensus is that what could be a lovely site is being pulled down by bad attitudes and behaviours not respecting the site rules

It was lovely. Went with my daughter ugh and granddaughter, . Well kept grounds, peaceful atmosphere. The only downside for me is the fact I don't drive, so have to rely on my daughter to take me, as she had a tourer on there . You definitely need your own car.

This visit, we were disappointed that no improvements to facilities had been made since last year. The laundrette was still closed and we had to wash clothes on the sunniest days by hand, although the drying room was a god send. The touring caravan area was rough slate and it ruined my flip flops and it concerned me that my car tyres had taken a severe battering. I asked for gas bottle replacement but had to go to Colwyn Bay, this in itself was a dangerous excerise, transporting it in the back of the car. Considering the amount of touring caravans on the whole site, this is very poor. No shop for even the basics ! Expensive site considering the whole package, but the bar was very good, with good food and very reasonably priced ales. In fairness, the shower facilities, although aged and insufficient for the size of the site, were kept spotless by the cleaning team, unfortunately, we will not return.

Camping is very good. Been here several times. Always hot water in showers and are very clean. The only downside is the Swallows Nest. Drinks very very expensive and no local ales although advertised. Food finishes at a variety of times each night and limited menu. Shame the pub let's the site down.

Second visit to this park. Lovely location, nice and clean, shower and toilet block could do with updating though, shower/changing cubicles are very small. Used the Swallows Nest Club House this time, lovely staff, lovely meal, nice place area for children and dogs welcome. A good experience.
