Adoption@Heart

What an absolutely incredible agency. From start to finish they have been incredibly supportive. Everything flowed very quickly and dates were even brought forward. Would I recommend this agency…one million percent I would.

Seeing my daughter and my son-in-law going through the adoption process with adoption@heart. I am totally disgusted with the treatment they have received. The constant delays, the totally lack of support they received going through process and when my daughter and son-in-law tried hold them to account for the disgusting treatment they have received adoption@heart have never taken responsibility the this, they have lied and manipulated the system.

Avoid if you don’t want consistent delays.Outsourcing to temporary agencies as don’t have enough staff.Expect delays, inconsistent updates and staff to leave during the process.

Had a lovely experiance with Adoption@Heart - even through COVID we found them to be attentative, punctual and reliable. We did initial research into other agencies and are so glad that we went with the team at Adoption@Heart!

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, I would recommend adoption at heart. The process is as easy or as hard as you make it but adoption at heart are there to support and guide you throughoutWe had bumps in the road that were worked through together and have successfully completed, looking forward to welcoming a little one into our family soon

If I could provide 0 stars I would. Initial interest on their side seemed solid. They organised an online event for us to attend which we did and then scheduled an initial interest meeting. The time it took for completing the initial interest form and get the meeting scheduled took almost 2 weeks (we were told it would be 3-5 days) and then it took a further 3 weeks to schedule the meeting due to scheduling conflicts. I took time off work so I could be available and ended up just twiddling my thumbs as Doreen didnt even bother to show up for the teams online meeting. Very frustrated and will be moving onto a better agency. Be aware and stay clear from this agency.

As a qualified Social Worker I am absolutely appalled at this agencies lack of professionalism and complete incompetence. Having shared the journey with my niece and her husband, I can only say the process was a farce from beginning to end. What should have taken 4 months has taken 12 months, with a complete lack of support and lack of communication.Reports have been full of inaccuracies, extremely judgemental and undertaken in a manner designed to cover the agencies incompetence.The Adoption Panel, far from being independent is made up from a set pool of panel membership in someway linked to Sandwell, Wolverhampton Dudley and Walsall and is therefore in fact biased in favour of the agency.Personally I would urge anyone wishing to adopt to avoid this agency and find a competent and professional agency to deal with.

Our journey" as they like to call it was an absolute car crash. Adoption at heart were incompetent and dishonest in there report on my wife and I. Our allocated social worker did a complete character assassination of my wife and a unnessacary risk assessment was carried out which now prevents us from ever adopting or fostering. The fact I am adopted myself was used as both a strength and a weakness in their report.All in all it grieves me to leave this organisation even 1 star. Look forward to the comment.."

We done the training the first bit of training after that we was ment to get feedback from the training we didn't we rang to get the medical forms a good few times we got told a couple of weeks everytime we rang still waiting but we give up might look at a more reliable agency would not recommend this guy's
