This was a fantastic pub to visit, with a well-presented throwback counter! The karaoke is exciting and lighting adds to this atmosphere, staff were friendly too. I enjoyed a refreshing pint of Somerset Cider, right at a clean table while playing pool for fun!

Amazing pub, great atmosphere, very welcoming, great music, awesome karaoke nights on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, disco every Saturday night. Best night out in Taunton, amazing drink prices, the kindest staff you will ever meet

Had a lovely stay in there rooms. Very fair prices.lovely team of staff.Very helpful and accommodating in the time of need.Rooms cleaned daily fresh towels daily lovely traditional pub.Many thanks al at the Crown and Sceptre for making me welcome.See you all soon

On a trip to Taunton we somehow ended up in this pub and it was the most entertaining and hilarious experience. The karaoke was top banter! The staff were hilarious. Overall a quality experience and would definitely go back.
