H2O Windsurfing School

Highly recommend Ben. He’s a fantastic instructor, super patient with me falling over (a lot!), very relaxed and very clearly passionate about the water sports he teaches! He was very flexible, arranged a bespoke private lesson for my wife and I to do both wind surfing and paddle boarding. Thanks so much, was a great experience!

Ben runs the best windsurf school there is. He has trained my family and friends and I couldn't recommend him more highly. Great kit and a really friendly manner. Nothing is too much trouble for him. You can't miss him with his sun bleached hair and H2O van on the Harbour front.

I thoroughly recommend this windsurf school - Ben is an excellent teacher, full of knowledge and experience but taught in a simple, easy to understand way. I've only had 2 lessons with Ben but am already able to windsurf around in a basic but enjoyable way. There is no better place for lessons in Poole!

Ben the owner and instructor is the nicest bloke and is the best windsurf instructor on the coast of England. Goes into a brilliant amount of detail and helps with everything there is no end to the extent of help given !! I would highly recommend Ben for beginner sailors and those more experienced. Get down to Ben this summer and get a go out on his amazing equipment!!

Ben is extremely personable which for me was key when looking for an instructor.The lessons are motivating and progression is the focus. He genuinely wants you to progress and doesn’t slow things up to just take the money. Ben has taken me on my journey from beginner to intermediate and I am looking forward to continuing to learn from him. The service level H2O provides is impeccable with a constant can do attitude. The club provides the perfect blend of sport and socialising with a friendly atmosphere. Ben makes sure everyone is welcome and ensures the service level everyone receives is outstanding. Ben is not blinkered in his approach and can cater for any age, families etc to ensure everyone experiences an enjoyable day.

Extremely talented instructor. I used Ben's H2O Windsurf school for some intermediate / advanced 1 on 1 improvement tuition on his modern kit. I ditched my 'Noah's Ark' vintage equipment to try out Ben's modern kit under his watchful eye. He quickly spotted my bad habits and coached me in the right direction; I then hired out the kit at a very reasonable rate to practice my new techniques - I'll be back when the water warms up!

Ben has been my instructor from when I was a complete beginner at 12 years old until now, 18 and shredding waves with him in his advanced lessons. His encouragement, support and critical expertise has shaped my passion for windsurfing and given me confidence in harder conditions. He really knows his stuff! I’d encourage anyone to give it a go this summer!

Ben is the best instructor around, with endless patience for beginner windsurfers. I've been to the school a few times now and he's always super encouraging giving great advice on how to improve. 10/10 would recommend to all beginners and more advanced surfers!
