Great little museum. The volunteers spent a lot of time with the kids telling them the history of the objects and they got to try out the rifles and outfits.

The gardens were wonderful. I specifically went to see the northumberland fusiliers museum (for world war one ) but was not in impressed.

Precious few of these museums left a fine old regiment should be supported. Not disable friendly though access to upper floors via winding staircase wasn't aware of a lift being available.

A nice small museum detailing the history of the regiment. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Nice little museum that charts the history of the Northumberland Fusiliers. Most f the exhibits are large collection of items with a description of all of the items in that part of the collection. The collection mainly consists of medals ( and Victoria Crosses), plus uniforms and other items associated with the Fusiliers.Entrance is free as it's already part of Alnwick Castle

Staff are friendly, very informative museum on the regiment and the bravery and sacrifices of its men and its traditions and history.
