I rarely write a desi food review because you rarely find authentic desi food in Glasgow. Its funny what people sell and eat in the name of those desi dishes. At times I wonder what is wrong with their taste buds"?Before I share my experience I would like to tell you I love food. I just love good food. Quality and Quantity! Excellent service band their spinach was perfect! We ordered chapli kabab and Bihari with roti, we were very happy with everything. Finally found a place in Scotland that does perfect desi chai.

their food is often excellent, especially the parathas. their coffee, in my experience, is nothing short of superb. however i ordered a tray bake months ago and it had a seminal amount of hair. not just one or two, but it appeared like a lot of hair was trapped in the icing. I imagine this isn’t a common occurrence but you really need to be careful about these things, especially in terms of health and safety. luckily the staff member i spoke to was v accommodating and polite about it, and offered another traybake to compensate for the concern.

Nice wee desi cafe in South side of Glasgow. In the right area, serving desi food cooked traditionally and authentically. Better than other alternatives.

I’ve been here a couple of times, and I tend to recommend it a lot, as the food and service tend to be good. Today all that crashed, the attitude of the staff wasn’t the best. It felt like she was mocking us and almost like she was doing us a favour to serves us.When we got up to leave, she was sitting talking to a man. They both looked at us and laughed. We were saying thank you and goodbye, and neither bothered to reply. I looked through the window, and they were still staring and laughing.

Now that's a hidden gem with a such a delicious and tasty food. We ordered Halwa puri and paratha omlete and both dishes had authentic taste.

Our first visit to the place and loved it. Freshly cooked parathas are great and very big in size. Omelette was perfectly cooked. Pink tea and karak teas were great aswell. Makki roti and saag saturday sunday only. Definitely coming back.
