Tobermory Taxis

Andy was our Knight In Shining Armour when our vehicle brokedown. My friend and I (both female) felt vulnerable as we weren't familiar with the area, had never broken-down before and had very patchy reception to make calls.Andy came and picked us up and took as from just outside Salen to Am Birlinn to make our evening dinner reservation and the picked us up and took us back to our lodgeAndy was so helpful and kept us calm during a stressful time

Andy drove us from Tobermory to Fionnphort and along the way he filled us in on the history of the island plus current happenings. We basically had a private tour guide for the 1 hr 20 min trip, and he was informative and funny. (And a great driver!) We called him on a whim and he picked us up within 10 minutes, but if you know you'll need a ride, it's probably better to book in advance.
