Drivalia Car Hire Birmingham Airport

Very close to Birmingham Airport. When you arrive, you have to phone them and they then ask you to wait outside the terminal where they come and pick you up from.The actual process only takes a little bit of time if they are not busy and once all the paperwork is done, you just take your car and drive away.When returning the car, again the process is very quick and they drop you off at the airport.Really pleased with the service and will definitely be using them if ever need a car in Birmingham.

I had to attend at the Birmingham branch multiple times and there was always a very long wait (first wait was over 1 hour). This is due to one customer service representative working and an extremely high number of customers. My reserved rental car was not available even though their computer system said it was and then I was forced to take a damaged shuttle bus. It was dirty inside as it was actively being used as an airport shuttle bus and there was no time to clean it. Even the AC did not work on a very hot day.

I’ve used Drivalia (and Easyrent as they used to be called) a number of times when I have visited the U.K. via Birmingham airport. Always a great service, friendly and helpful. The car hire is priced very competitively. On this most recent occasion I was offered a free upgrade without asking. Excellent. Had to wait a little longer than usual to be collected from the airport on my arrival (in the rain) but this didn’t detract from the experience too much.

Poor service. No shuttle bus available and was told to either walk or get a taxi. As a woman on my own and it was 7.30 at night and raining I decided to take a taxi, cost 10 pounds. No apologies, no offer to reimburse. My debit card was refused for insurance excess although I had used it previously at this agency and I had to pay an extra 200 pounds, making it more expensive than Hertz . Avoid this company

The first time I had used these guys, it was amazing. Couldn’t fault them and that’s why I chose to use them again on this trip to the U.K.However, This time, NEVER AGAIN. I had reserved a car for 12 days at a certain price and deposit, like before, unfortunately my flight was cancelled and I was put on another flight so arrived 2 hours later than planned. Unfortunately I couldn’t get in contact with them at 2am this morning to change the arrival time but thought it wouldn’t be a problem as I’ve never had this problem before. After I arrived I call them a few times with no answer, then finally when I do get through, they said they would send a driver. 1.5 hours later I get picked up. Then waiting in the waiting area for another 10 minutes or so (no problem) I don’t mind waiting if you are busy, I understand it can get crazy busy at times, But don’t tell me my booking has been a complete no show because I’ve gone over the 4 hour wait period by 5 minutes because you guys are busy. Then try charge me double the price and a higher deposit on the credit card.Also the guy as the desk, I believe was called zee, was speaking bad about customers to waiting customers. It’s crazy that’s your customer service. I couldn’t believe my eyes and ears. Like I said, never again.

First time using Drivalia and was impressed with the entire service. Booked online and managed the booking via the app. Upon collecting the keys I found the service to be welcoming and very swift. The car was immaculate and the return of the vehicle went smoothly. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport without any hitches. The only suggestion I would make is that perhaps it would be a good idea to input the location of the hire centre as the HOME address in the GPS of every vehicle. Thank you Drivalia for a great car hire experience.

Three day rental from Saturday to Monday.We were more than happy with the competitive rental fee and were delighted with our rental vehicle.Zee and his colleague were both friendly and great to deal with and the pick-up/drop-off service to the airport was excellent.We'd certainly look to rent from Drivalia in the future.
