Lots of parking. Wide open space for ball games plus play area. Good place for jogging and a pleasant footpath leading from it.

Two parks for kids, one is aimed for toddlers. Loads of space for any activities you want to do or even sit in peace. The local football team plays here which is a plus, good quality of football.

Meant to be a public playing field, but it has been taken over by football. Railings have been put around one pitch ruining the enjoyment of the field for others. Overgrown paths leading into field, I guess the budget was spent on the railings. Sports centre literally up the road.

Mill Lane Playing Fields
Great to see a wide variety of activities going on, football, dog walking, running, playgrounds, fairs, bootcamp. All ages all the time. A brilliant, well used, shared space with plenty of parking. Update 2021: CCTV now in operation. Car park open times 07:30 to approximately 19:30. Children's play Castle has been removed.

Not only a soccer pitch it has two play parks one which is enclosed and safe for the younger children and babies and a larger one for the bigger children etc with swings etc also a netball/ basketball net.
