Terrible customer service and ordering system. Rude staff who are intially friendly as they want their money.Ordered on the website, our order was put through twice due to the website being busy and in their words 'glitchy'. Initially on the phone they reassured us they would not take both payments. Even offered us a 20% discount on a next order.The next day they took both payments. They denied everything they had said the previous evening and refused to refund us.

This place is a joke I’ve been going for over 3 years and I understand thing happen but big wait for food 5 times I have ordered to pick up 20 mins and had to wait for over 1 hour after standing in front of them to get it sorted2nd problem is that you order a delivery at 6pm and at 8pm still no order has turned up and being told that the driver is on his way.. this is not a one off for me but sometimes you have Enough.Such a shame as the food is lovely but not worth the hassle..give it a miss

We ordered vegetable Singapore noodles for my girlfriend as she is vegetarian, but when we got home there was prawns in it. As this was going to be the only dish we ordered that didn't have any meat in it, my girlfriend couldn't eat anything. We got the takeaway for my girlfriends daughters 15th birthday and we had family round. My girlfriend had to make herself something else, which was an inconvenience.

Terrible experience. The man on the phone got irritated when I asked him politely not to add an ingredient to the dishes and he raised his voice and talked as though it was my fault asking that, extremely rude indeed. Learn how to talk to the local public, otherwise, there's absolutely no point being on the job. Food arrived, and that ingredient was in all of the dishes and was greasy and very salty. I won't be ordering from there again, I do NOT recommend at all.

This Chinese takeaway is located just opposite the petrol station on London Road. Small car park available at rear but if busy you can park on street outside.I haven't tried delivery (as they charge) but collection is simple... I call and confirm what we want and then drive over and pay when I get there. Very rare that I have to wait too long.Food itself is pretty good. Only occasionally do we come across something that we are not keen on!Price is probably fairly average for the area. Staff are always polite and friendly.

Used to use them, no more as they allow their delivery drivers & customers to drive & park on the pavement & won't do a sodding thing to stop it & use their car park! It is now no longer safe to walk there anymore & shows their hatred to those who don't drive.

Poor & rude service experience. Historically, I have ordered from here once a month, for the past year. The food is ok quality and it is convenient to where I live. However, I have felt that it is over priced. Today, I called to make an order, and was asked to wait. After several minutes waiting and listening to people make orders on the other phone, someone finally picked up after I called out. When I commented on the wait without being updated, all I received was rude excuses. No simple apology. Out of frustration I said that I would leave it for today and the guy just hung up the phone. If you are going to be in business, learn how to treat a customer. Shame!!

Absolutely lovely food and service.I have ordered here a couple of times and its always hot fresh and delivered in a good time.Shame you dont open tuesdays as i had to order from somewhere else last night which was awful. Please open 7 days a week!Very reasonably priced and lovely staff, worth the money all day long!

ChinaOne came recommended to us after moving to Colchester. We tried another Chinese takeaway which wasn’t/isn’t half as good. The food is cooked and delivered quickly, always incredibly hot, handed over by a friendly, polite face and is reasonably priced for the quality received. Will definitely continue to use this establishment.
