What a wonderful amenity, and tourist attraction to the beautiful Sett Valley and Torrs Hydro country walks. Though it appears to have had teething troubles in the past, it is currently (pardon the pun!) showing a rating of 47Kw and water is gushing over the weir from the rivers Goyt and Sett.A magnificent viewpoint. Well worth a visit. It would be great to see more of these innovations installed elsewhere.

I've been going to the tours for many years now and it is a place of mystery and beauty ,,never get bored and great for the kids to play and run a round, or if your a climbing buff then you can climb the cliffs with safety of course..

What a waste of time and shareholder's money. Archie never seems to be working and the 'powers that be' always seem to have an excuse.It is a shame that Trevor at Auto Salvage is no more because he would have given Archie a boost of a few quid as his scrap yard was very close.When are you going to say That's it" and give up and let Archie die of rust or is that what the plan is?????Mr. Silky.
