Had a couple take away meals from British India including one last night. They have been absolutely delicious. Generous portions and fresh ingredients. The service from the lady and gent as you enter is brilliant. Very warm and friendly and they are great to chat to while Mum and I waited. Another amazing Independent business making Frinton awesome. Thank you British India.

Not impressed at all. I just spent close to £50 for a delivery dinner for 2. I can live with it being delivered 40 minutes later than advertised as it's a Saturday evening & they're busy.I can't live with the fact that it was 90% rice though.We give this restaurant a chance every 2 or 3 years, thinking that it's going to get better.More fool us. Never again. I could have & should have cooked it myself & saved £45.

One of the worst restaurant experiences ever. First, the waiter somehow forgot that we ordered starters. We've waited for an hour and only after asking again they realized they forgot us. He also forgot to bring us napkins and when he did after finishing the starters, mine was dirty.I ordered a simple dish, it was a chicken omelette with fries and peas. I never thought peas could be screwed up. See also picture... I think they were left for years in a freezer and then heated up in the microwave. At least it's how they looked like. Just disgusting. The omelet was dry and also the fries were squishy like they were heated in an oven.

Absolutely best curry house around, food is delicious, very authentic and the chicken tikka is to die for, can't fault the service or anything else with this restaurant, keep up the great work.
