Phil has been absolutely incredible from start to finish, we could not recommend him enough. I knew as soon as I found Phil on Instagram that his ability to document and tell a story was exactly what I was after. Whilst the photos of our day are everything we dreamed of, the best thing about Phil was that he was so much more than a photographer at our wedding; he gave us advice over 2 years from our engagement up to our big day, gave us recommendations of suppliers, hooked us up with a DJ, had so many laughs at our pre shoot, took so much time to get to know us and to understand our day, was a total cheerleader whilst I was getting my hair and make up prepped, distracted my husband whilst he was nervous waiting at the end of the aisle, made all our guests laugh throughout a long day, got on the dance floor, and finally finishing the night with shots at the bar. We feel like we have made a friend! A huge huge thank you for everything you have done and such incredibly memories you have captured.

Phil was amazing from the very first point of contact right up until the big day and afterwards too. He was available to ask any questions too and was really helpful.Phil turned up early on the big day ready to capture bridal prep and offer his guidance & tips throughout. He kept me calm and laughing.We booked Phil as we wanted a relaxed photographer taking candid shots as opposed to posed ones. However of course I wanted some romantic pics! With this in mind, when we had a little bit of time outside just for photos of the 2 of us, we had such a laugh. Phil was cracking the jokes & getting us to just talk and laugh together, pulling out all the tricks for those natural happy photos. Looking back at our photos in that moment makes us smile as we think about the silly conversations that were had which captures us perfectly as a couple, rather than staged posing.After receiving a preview of our photos so soon after the wedding, we knew we would be made up with the gallery. When Phil got it contact to say the photos were ready we were so excited to see them. We have around 600 and love so many of them! Now to choose 70 for our album and prints for our wall. I just can’t wait to get the album made now and relive our day all over again.I want to add a special thank you for the number of amazing photos he’s taken over our little boy, the star of the show! Pictures to treasure forever. Along with some gorgeous photos of another baby that attended the wedding, her mummy and daddy are made up!I would 100% recommend Phil and can only hope that my friends use him for their weddings in the future so hopefully we can catch up again. We could not recommend Phil highly enough! He was incredible both before and on our wedding day, and our photos are fun, colourful, vibrant, and very much in the moment rather than overly posed - exactly what we were hoping for. We had seen some other photographers that were a bit dark and moody which wasn’t our vibe, and he was a real breath of fresh air. He sent the first few pictures really soon after the wedding and they are all amazing. We can’t wait to see the rest! It was like having a friend hanging around with us on the day, and his eye for a great shot is unreal. The scoping he did beforehand meant we knew he was getting some great images and making the most of where we were, but some of the things he spotted at the last minute - like when the lighting was just right or the sun was in the perfect place for a split second - turned out to be some of the most incredible pictures. Wow! The whole experience with Phil from start to finish was incredible. Nothing was too much to ask for. He was present throughout the whole planning journey ready to answer any questions about literally anything! And then on the day he delivered!!! We are lost for words with our photos and are over the moon with the results. The photographer was the biggest decision for our wedding and I would not hesitate to recommend Phil to anyone looking for a more relaxed, authentic way to capture their big day.

Phil was the photographer for mine and my wife’s wedding last Saturday. From the offset Phil was friendly and put us at ease. Throughout the year before the wedding, he was easy to contact and open to discussing ideas including pre wedding shoot! We ultimately chose Phil for his amazing composition work and his easy going personality - the combination of which has given us some incredible pictures that are truly unique and an extra person to calm us and put us at ease on the day (and even partying with us!). We got married a year ago today as I write this, and we've just spent a wonderful couple of hours poring through all of our beautiful memories. Phil's photography of our wedding is absolutely stunning, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with both on the day and in the months leading up to it. Even though neither of us particularly enjoy having our own pictures taken, Phil immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease, demonstrating a huge amount of kindness and patience. I left a review for Phil a few days after our daughter's wedding when we received the taster photos. Little did I know that was just the tip of the iceberg! We now have the full package and I cannot think of enough superlatives to describe how amazing they are. Phil has captured the beauty of the day and the funny moments and everything in between in such a relaxed way. We cannot stop looking at the pictures and reliving the magical day over and over.
