Booked my A7 in with John Austin, for a possible wheel bearing issue. Left the car with them, and waited to hear what they discovered.I was pleasantly surprised, to hear when they phoned, to say that there was nothing wrong with it, after investigation.Some garages may have phoned to say, yes sir, the bearing is shot and needs changing. Then go about charging big money for the job. I would be none the wiser, as it's not my expertise.But John Austin, were open, honest and not one of those garages. I was very impressed. Would use them again without question, with this level of open and honest approach.

Took my Audi A6 3.0l TDI allroad to John Austin after it loosing its air suspension settings. I was told the system would need to be reprogramed, this could go well or could be a long process. I had to book the car in and the earliest was a few weeks away, luckily the car was still driving fine.I dropped the car off first thing that morning and waited for the dreaded phone call, I asked them if they could MOT it while it was with them.I got a call later that day to say it was ready for collection, I collected the car and was very pleasantly surprised that I had only been charged 1 hours labour for the suspension issue. Its great to use a garage that is honest, I could have been charged a lot more and wouldn't of known any difference, the car also passed its MOT.Big thank you to you for fixing the car and your honesty.

Ive been going to John Austin's for over a decade now since acquiring my 'keeper'.Travel is a fair distance to Mark Tey but i'm happy to do so.Paul and the team at JA's have cared for my car as much as I care for my car. Amazing service! Was visiting Colchester and unfortunately my Audi needed repairing after an incident on the way down. Knowing I had to get back, they got the parts in and my car was done within a few hours. Would highly recommend!
