Received some very bad advice from one of their middle/low level solicitors. Sent me a bill for unfinished work, 18 months after the work was done. I agree I had to pay, but it was obvious the figure was quite arbitrary to me. When I dared ask for a breakdown of the bill and how they came to the figure, their response was to not provide this without threatening me with debt collectors and increasing the bill further. They simply would not provide a bill breakdown as a matter of recourse. They seemed angry and offended I dared ask!

I had a great experience using their services for a house buy.Neil was always available for any discussion and made everything so easy for a first time buyer like me. A conveyancing solicitor there came across to me as absolutely unprofessional and poor in communication, showing little consideration of the language used, whether it is respectful. They seemed to want to close the deal without caring about the interest of others. I would not recommend it to anyone who would like a smooth experience whether buying or selling properties. Avoid them at all costs.

I have used Acorn Solicitors for my business and personally. Business wise they assisted my company brilliantly with various aspects including restructuring and shareholders agreements. Personally I have received excellent advice and service on wills, property and a boundary issue which was resolved after years of being overlooked by previous solicitors. I cannot recommend highly enough, a great firm to deal with.

Went online late March 2023 for a conveyancing quote from Acorn and then followed it up with a call to confirm the quote. It was now £300+ more expensive. The firm would not accept the online quote saying unfortunately there seems to be an error on our quotes" Went elsewhere."

I used Acorn Solicitors for my sale and purchase earlier this year and have to say it was a pleasure to deal with both Neil and Jo.They provided me with regular updates and answered any queries I had and never made me feel as though I was asking too many or too silly a question.The conveyancing aspect for my purchase and sale went through swiftly and we ended up waiting on the rest of the chain .If ever I was unable to get through, I would leave a message and I would receive a call back as soon as they were available.Fantastic service and would use them again if I were to move.
