Brilliant customer service and fantastic products. I popped into Barneys looking to create a cheese hamper as a birthday present. The person I spoke to was really friendly and personable. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and then made lots of suggestions and helped me choose a fantastic selection of cheeses and accompaniments. I’d definitely recommend.

Really sad to have to write this as never been let down before here BUT they never delivered my hamper. Ordered a fancy hamper 21st October for Christmas well in advance with dpd delivery. It never arrived, and they are now temporarily closed with website down. No way to get my money back :( wish they had at least cancel or let me know so I could have gotten my folks something else

Great cheese selection. The staff were lovely and helpful. I had family round to visit and the staff recommended a selection of cheeses to suit everyone's taste.The selection must have been good since the next day my family went to buy some cheese to take home.

A great source of global and local cheese with proprietors who are great at making recommendations. They also supply a range of chutneys, pickles, cured meats, nut butters, crackers and even vegan cheeses. Well worth a visit.

I don’t often take the time to write reviews but just had to for Barney’s. The quality and variety of cheeses, charcuterie, chutneys, chocolate etc is always excellent. I recently asked if they could make a hamper for a colleague. Michaela was so friendly and arranged a bespoke one. It was honestly fabulous! Everyone commented on how delicious it looked. I can’t stop recommending to everyone! Thanks so much to the team at Barney’s.

Never been here but Google insists that I have time and time again.I looked in the window once and it does look amazing. But sorry I can't be more help.5stars as I know from what I saw there would be 5star flavours all the way

We got some beautiful goats cheese here the other day, the staff are really helpful and there's a huge selection of local products, including loads of chilli sauces! Thank you, we love it here!

The BEST cheese in Brighton and one of my favourite shops in the whole Lanes!From local to continental to vegan cheeses, there's something to suit absolutely everyone's tastes.Friendly, knowledgeable staff and all round superb customer service. Ask for a recommendation and you won't be disappointed. I always go in for one thing but leave with an armful (just impossible to choose between all the delicious things).

Always come here before any dinner party.Service is always brilliant too and the staff are very knowledgeable about all of their goods.They have the best selection of local cheeses and wines in all of Brighton and they have not disappointed.If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would without skipping a beat.

We popped into Barney's this evening to get some cheese for the evening. What a wonderful selection! So much to choose from, and so many local varieties too. Possibly the best selection I've ever seen!Wonderful customer service too - so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Thank you!
