Amazing independently owned spot for food. Our waiter, Royland, a Harry Styles lookalike, was great. We had vegan pancakes and vegan waffles. I can't believe we found them in this small town.

I had high expectations due to the reviews and it was not great. The strawberries are soggy which ended up making the waffle soggy and mushy. Ended up being unbearable to eat.

Quick, friendly service. Visited on a weekday at 3pm and received food within 10 minutes of ordering. French toast with salted caramel & banana (see photo) was amazing. Its not cheap but you're paying for a quality dessert. Great treat!

Really nice brunch. Large portions; you won't go away hungry. Very good service; friendly and attentive. We didn't try the sweet menu but looking forward to another visit to give those a go!

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, fancy some sweet treats or you just want some great food topped with some great service head here!We were greeted and served by Sydney who confirmed how many of us there would be, took us over to a table making sure of any allergies and if the table was ok before seating us and passing us the menus (including Christmas special menu)Sydney was super friendly, really helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and also had some great recommendations all whilst maintaining that fabulous smile! Absolute asset to the company, should be feel really lucky they have such an employee within their team that is so dedicated to providing the customer experience to the highest standard!I had the Apple and Cinnamon waffle paired with a Biscoff shake (MEGA) absolutely wolfed it down, one of the best milkshakes I’ve ever had and matched with the waffle it was the perfect combo for me!Overall cleanliness - the place is obviously kept under good strategic team planning as the place as it reflected in how clean the restaurant and facilities were.I will definitely be back as the customer service alone was inviting and made us feel welcome as soon as we got through the door! Thank you Sydney! Highly recommended place to visit for any local or visitor alike!

Photos from old and new trips, some as old as 2017. The works is a great place for a catch up with friends and has great dessert options but also savoury ones too for those who don't have a sweet tooth.Banoffee Waffle is my go too, love it! The works staff ate always friendly and accommodating, the service is quick and easy to pay when done too.
