It’s such a good place for a breakfast chat with friends. The breakfast deal was so valuable. I loved my Egg Benedict.

Clean and well kept toilets. Friendly bar staff with excellent food choices. I was charged for 3 drinks instead of 2 and when i brought it to the attention of the staff member who served me, the problem was solved right away with an apology.

Best to go during the week in the daytime. Gets very busy at the weekends and evenings. Very nice selection of real ale. I had chicken wings which were nice for the price.

I had a good experience here. They have different varieties of alcohol and food. The place was very clean and tidy (including the washroom). It would be good if you reserved a table on a weekend before visiting the place because it's always bustling with people and there will be no space to sit.

Used to be an easy staple for meeting up with family when in the city, but wouldn't bother again.Food (2 bowls of chips and an onion rings) were stone cold and just grease. We went to the bar to ask for replacements and the bar guy just nodded and said 'are they cold?' before we even said a word.Beers on the app or menu don't correspond with what was available, and what we ended up with was flat.Every table and the toilets were dirty. And this was before the Christmas season/Markets properly began.Wouldn't bother.

Great spot if you’re looking for a shower. He only spilt half the pitcher on me and never even apologised or offered a new one. Not to mention digging his claws into the hip to save it from spilling further. Manager stormed off and slammed the tray. Lovely drink though.

Visited on a Saturday, so very busy and noisy. Table was free, but dirty. Had to clean ourselves as no one came to clear. Saw others doing the same. App didn’t work so ordered food at the bar. Server was really helpful, took our order. How do we tip if no waiter service? Seems Weatherspoons don’t encourage tipping? Food was average, but good value. If you want a cheap meal with hustle and bustle, go there, but don’t expect good food and personal service.

Table full of dishes from previous customers ask for it to be cleared told to busy someone would get to it later,20 minutes later it got cleared grudgingly be the manager.food arrived after about 30 minutes chips were cold mushy peas were a solid lump gravy was solidified steak and kidney pudding was dry.Not a good experience for any tourists in the area for the Christmas fair
