Accolade Sash Windows

I had a very difficult job including the refurbishment of 5 large sash windows on the 1st floor, large parts of which had seriously deteriorated. They really needed replacing but for Planning reasons I preferred to refurb. The work was completed on time and I was delighted with both the results and the price.

Will was very responsive, provided an accurate itemized quote and listed potential areas where extra work may be necessitated. Our sash windows were renovated to a good standard at a very reasonable price. I would definitely use this company again.

We needed our Sash windows looked at as there was a fair bit of draft coming in, and a fair bit of trouble when we wanted them opened. We took three quotes and from that, decided to commission Accolade Sash Windows to undertake the work, largely based on their competitive pricing but also because we were impressed with Will who had come to measure up for the quote. The work that they undertook was completed on time, gave us the smooth and easy opening we had desired, and has stopped the draft, and also made a slight difference to the noise we get from passers by outside. All in all, a great investment from us and we wish we had done it years ago. Throughout the process Will was approachable and easy to work with, and the work he and his team undertook for us has given us what we wanted, and at a competitive price too!

I was very impressed with the Accolade Sash Windows team. They were efficient, organised and friendly. I am very happy with our 3 new sash windows and new front sash bay. The replacement windows look almost identical to the original Victorian sashes but are double-glazed, draft-free and and have a lovely finish. Will and the team also fixed rotting sills and decorated shutter woodwork around the bay. All-in-all, the results are high-quality, the team were a pleasure to deal with and the price was reasonable. Excellent!

Positively impressed by the work done. Our old sash windows had rotten wood patches on frames and sills, some cracked panes, were badly balanced and generally drafty and hard to open/close. Will and Alex did excellent work in replacing and repairing everything to a very good standard. They were also very good at protecting everything from dust and we only had some minimal cleaning to do after they were finished. Would certainly recommend.
