We had several issues with our Frenchie including resource guarding and had been advised by a trainer to consider rehoming him.Bruce responded quickly to my email and came the next day. Within 10 mins of being with the dog it was clear he had complete control and he achieved this in a calm and non confrontational way. He has spent 6 hours with us and our dog working in the home and in the park working on his social skills with other dogs. The training programme was tailored to our lifestyle and Bruce ensured that we were able to carry out the training he suggested.Our dog has changed, in just a week, he is calmer, we are confident in handling him and he has stopped guarding items. We now feel confident about the future with our dog.Bruce has so much experience and advice and has given us the tools to take on the training.I can’t recommend Bruce highly enough. I wish we had found him sooner.

We contacted Bruce on the Monday and by Tuesday he had been in touch and arranged a visit. Our Golden Retriever was extremely reluctant to get into our car. Bruce was brilliant with our dog talking to him and taking time to find out his history.He was very relaxed and easy going and he spent nearly 4 hours with us , going to the local park teaching us techniques on how to get Barley into the car. Today we took Barley out on our own and he hopped in and out of the car as if he’d done it for years. Early days yet but we will persevere with the techniques and training that Bruce taught us. He also promised to be available whenever we need further help with Barley. We are so glad we contacted Bruce.

We called in Bruce after we introduced our new puppy and our 1 year old stopped eating. Bruce really helped us get inside the mind of our dog and understand she needed far more mental stimulation, varied walks and within a few days she was eating normally again.We also learnt so much about recall, behavioural and how our dog actually thinks. Its improved our relationship with both dogs and enriched our dog ownership experience.

After having a baby I could tell my 8 year-old miniature schnauzer, Peggy, was really unhappy. We couldn’t give her the same time and attention she was used to and although she hadn’t been aggressive towards the baby she had started getting grumpy with other dogs at the park and I wanted to take the right steps to ensure she felt happier and more relaxed with all the changes. We had two sessions with Bruce where we spoke through the issues and he came up with a plan to move forward. We did some training in the house and at the park, and he gave us loads of tips and advice for a happier, healthier dog. After following his advice we saw the difference in Peggy within days, even family members commented on how she seemed more relaxed. It’s been weeks since and she’s so much more content. Sometimes she even chooses to snuggle up with me and the baby, or sit next to him while he’s on his playmat. She doesn’t seem bothered by a sudden little hand or foot touching her which would have really shocked her before. As the baby gets bigger I now know how to ensure the dog remains calm and happy, and we feel much more reassured as parents. I know the cost of these training sessions is high and may seem off putting but for us it was well worth the money - Bruce really is an excellent dog trainer.

Not very professional with appointments, doesnt disclose how long appointment will be for, before you onow it lifr savings gone, then wants another deposit then theres a finace team who need money. Can relate to others doesnt turn up for 2nd apppintment then wants to turn up at unarranged visit, then keeps your deposit. Did do some good work but not worthy of the 750 i paid amd that was with a big discount, he allowed pup on sofa when i hired someone else, this turned out to be why he was resource guarding. Bruce got a free day, lunch tea on tap. Can relate that his way isnt the most professional, if your a single woman please have a man present. I didnt feel comfortable with the touchy feely i had my neighbours listen close in the garden. Just do your research first and not after. He says that the price includes telephone support, but ylu dont get answered you just get pressured into booking apppintment. Bruce is a marketing specialist. He is in my opinion a borderline con man. Stay clear

Bruce transformed our 6 yo cockapoo who had become anxious when we left the house. She had previously been well behaved but WFH during the pandemic had made her accustomed to constant close company. She had started to urinate upstairs having never had any problems before. Bruce spent almost 5 hours with us and instantly there was an improvement. He reviewed everything from diet to teeth cleaning as well as the anxiety and I’m delighted to say that two weeks later we have a transformed and very happy dog. I heartily recommend Bruce. He clearly knows his stuff, his advice is grounded in research and his primary objective is to help the owner have a happy healthy well behaved dog.

PLEASE BEWARE of this MAN (a number of his victims have now come together and are filing a police report against him) ****I have WON**** my civil court case against him and I am now sending the bailiffs to collect money he stole from me. A number of his victims are putting a report together to file criminal proceedings against him now.I had a very bad experience with Bruce Clanford. He attended one visit and fed my dogs so many treats that they were sick that evening. He did not come back for the following session that I stupidly paid him upfront for and did not answer my calls. I have seen on these reviews that he has also done this to other people. He kept fobbing me off avoiding my calls. He conned me out of money and I would urge people to beware.

We have a dog that suffered from separation anxiety, someone gave us the Dog Whisperer contact details and was highly recommended. We got in touch, told him about it and arranged a meeting. He told us what was wrong and what to do but with no success our dog didn't want to know. We got back in touch and arranged for our dog to go to him. When she came back, she was a different dog, much better behaviour and sort the problem. We have recommend him to so many people, and highly recommend him has a dog trainer and a very nice person too.

Well what can I say, my dog was a nightmare with barking and snapping at people since a puppy. I followed all of the online training advice and advice from the breeder but nothing was working. From the first visit my dog was totally different, much calmer, and I learned the techniques to make him much less anxious around new people to stop the snapping. Amazing professional service. Would fully recommend Bruce to anyone needing advice or assistance. Can't thank him enough.
