Used Davis's for a few years for our organisations annual service if it's vessel. Always friendly and helpful. Price very reasonable too

I've had my boat here for about a year, both in the water and ashore. A great family run boatyard, good clean facilities, helpful staff and the best prices around poole.

Appalling. Avoid at all costs. The individuals that run this business are unable to provide even the most basic levels of customer service and have no issues whatsoever in horrendously 'doing over' their customers.After agreeing in writing with the me the arrangements for winter storage of my yacht, upon arrival I was informed that they had unilaterally changed their mind on a key aspect of the booking which made storage there completely unfeasible. Rather than recognising that they were the wholly at-fault party, they delivered nothing but rude responses and expected me to pay through the nose to make alternative arrangements with them on the spot - which in my view is almost akin to extortion.These people appear to model their business on dishonesty, self-interest and defensiveness. Anyone that deals with Davis's should be prepared to face significant hassle / unexpected expense.There are many other yards in Poole that offer an infinitely better service - consider anywhere else before here.Given how much they lied to me, it seems only reasonable to expect any response to this review to also be full of lies....watch this space.

A proper boat yard with fantastic service. Exceptionally helpful and welcoming service. We’ll be back next season!!

We kept our boat here in the yard over the winter, and have just launched her this week. The facilities are decent and well-maintained, and there's a nice little cafe on site which serves breakfast and lunch at very reasonable prices. The staff here at the yard are incredibly skilled, friendly and helpful - if only all boatyards were like this! They are proactive and organised - nothing is too much trouble for them. They readily share their experience and knowledge, rather than making you feel silly for your lack thereof. The owner and his son are two of the most genuine and lovely chaps I've had the pleasure of meeting, and they have clearly worked very hard over the years to build a great family business here. I can't recommend Davis's Boatyard highly enough.

I can’t rate this company highly enough. Lance and the team have always gone out of their way to provide a helpful, professional service at a competitive price. Pretty rare in this day and age.
