Modern Indian dishes with a 1920s decor. The food is tasty, the cocktail is great, the staff is friendly. Great selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes. Totally recommended. Go early as they don’t take reservation.

Dishoom offers an authentic Indian dining experience that closely mirrors the flavors found in India itself. Despite its popularity and bustling atmosphere, they accommodate walk-ins, though be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially on weekends. The restaurant has huge seating area, making it an excellent choice for parties or events. Good table service and you won't find yourself waiting long for your meal. Parking is limited right outside the restaurant, but there are two car parks nearby. A must-try is their chole-puri.

Nice place and runs full most of the time. Tasty food no doubt about that but priced on the higher side. Probably expected as this is a high end chain of restaurants. The Dal Makni was awesome good quantity and probably the best I tasted.Lamb chops and Kebabs were tasty no doubt but for the price we paid the portions were small.Service is out of this world. Right from the time you enter to the time you exit you are taken care of.

SO GOOD - reservation is 100% recommended.I tried the vada pau, chai, house chaat, chicken Ruby, rumali Roti and Aflatoon's Colada. They were all so well cooked and very delicious. The chai was too mild for my taste but the vada pau was simply awesome. The staff were very friendly. We didn't manage to dine the 1st time we came here because there was a 1hr wait even though it was a school night. But the staff spoke to us, almost convinced us to spend time in their bar before being seated but since it was a 60min wait, it was too long for us. I was told that after 6pm they only accept reservation for 6ppl+. I made a reservation for lunch time even though it wasn't recommended. The ambience is also very nice, not quiet but a little on the noisy side like a typical cafe in Mumbai. Their washrooms have old style fitting. You can also purchase Dishoom merch like plates and bowls, books, pickles/jams and so on.

The restaurant offers authentic and delicious Indian cuisine that tantalizes your taste buds. However, the ambiance leaves much to be desired due to malfunctioning air conditioning, making the dining experience uncomfortably warm. On the positive side, the staff are attentive and helpful, always keen to ensure a pleasant meal. The dishes were absolutely delicious. Overall, it's a great spot for Indian food lovers, but improvements in the climate control could elevate the experience significantly.

There are nearly 6.3k reviews before me and majority of them positive. So, here is my contribution to the positive reviews.Place is amazing and the food quality is simply the best in London.I have heard a lot about it and thought it is an overhyped restaurant and will not live upto the hype. Last week we decided to give it a go and we were pleasantly surprised.Food quality was amazing and service was top notch. Yes it doesn’t have Michelin star but quality I am sure is better if not equal to it.Overall, its a MUST visit restaurant if you are in London.

The food here was amazing. The restaurant is a walk in and we had to wait a bit because we arrived prior to lunch service but we had time to settle and get a drink before ordering lunch. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

Awesome place to have Indian food. One can have delicious starters Along with main course. Indian food with fusion if you love this the place. They have 4-5 outlets in London. Food is too heavy so make your chouces carefully.
