This chippy has gone downhill over the years to a point where no one knows who owns it. Went in there & they had virtually nothing ready. Had to wait for a frozen doner to cook, for fish to be made & chips. Curry sauce came from the back & salad from the back. The large £6 fish & mini £3.50 fish was virtually the same size. The curry sauce was watery with bits in. The chips were nice & that’s it. For battered orange chips yes I’d go here, for anything else avoid it completely. Guy who served me has no people skills at all. Shame as this used to be a decent chippy

Ordered the masala fish and chips and everything was freshly made. Taste was really good and owner was really friendly. Highly recommend.

Friendly welcoming polite staff.My order was taken efficiently and prepared freshly while I waited and was excellent value for money. The food was extremely tasty and of superb quality.... I will definitely not leave it so long before my next visit.

Excellent food. Had Mixed meat, Cheesy Chips, Nuggets and Masala fish. OMG, Masala fish was amazing. Never tried it before and it was amazing. Kebab was lovely as well as the Nuggets.

One of the best chippy out there I would 100% recommend. Food was piping hot , food was tasty, food was enjoyable I couldn’t ask for more. Owner is very nice and friendly definitely coming back here again.

Foods alright, don't appreciate ordering a kebab and the guy starting to wrap it up without asking me if I wanted salad. It then became apparent it's because he hardly had anything left, so then put the smallest amount of lettuce and onion on to stretch it out, I then asked about the rest of the salad (he had even less of this left) and he put the smallest amount on. If you don't want to give me any salad that I've paid for, tell me before I order so I can go elsewhere please

The difference now the chippy is under new management is like night and day. Really fresh food and the place is spotless. Had mixed meat and chips the other day and just chips today both were spot on. Get generous servings also. Just hope words gets round and more people start using it again.
